Virtual Console: Wii-kly Update

Another Solitaire game. I'm tempted to buy it just to see if it's as soul-crushingly evil as the Touch Solitaire game that came out a few weeks ago. I've played 20 or 30 rounds of it and have only won once. Give me the illusion that I have a chance to win, that's all I'm asking. It really makes you appreciate the game that comes with Windows.

Not much happening except me being late waking up in recovery from Oscar Night. No worries.

I wondered how they would handle Final Fantasy IV on Virtual Console. It honestly surprises me that they kept the name as FF2 instead of going into the code and fixing it. I'll buy this out of sheer nostalgia, and I'll probably get it for my sister's kids as their introduction to the RPG genre.

As much as I liked the DS remake, the GBA port is still my preferred version because it has the 16-bit graphics but with a better translation.

yes the GBA edition is the best. Same they didn't use the rom from the PS1 edition tho...

The GBA version is okay but suffers from a lot of lag issues, especially during battle. And no, I'm not referring to slowdown - the code actually has trouble running correctly sometimes during battle, resulting in enemies that rarely attack.
