The 3 weeks are up and the "soon" will be up in three hours...
 
Cmdrfly and myself found that the only way to change the template back for everyone is to go into each account and manually change it back, and with the amount of accounts registered on here, it would be too long of a task to complete.

We're trying to figure out how to re-implement at least the option to switch to/from templates without.. screwing up the current template as it is.

Guys, just be patient.
 
Where the fuck is Nox and Reeve, the guys who actually know how to run Forums?

I have trouble believing that "Ads by Google" even covers the cost of bandwidth for this site, much less turns a profit. They can't even link to their own sites that probably do turn a profit because everyone cried like little babies when the sponsored links were added. Then whenever they do show up everyone bitches about everything they do. Losing money, crybabies left and right... now why would they avoid this site again?

Make a thread titled "Post here if you want the old style back, otherwise stuff it" and only change those people? >.>

I doubt they're making any money, but they can't really be losing that significant amount of money that it'd actually be a problem, but yeah, exactly. Everything you've said is exactly what I wanted to say but didn't feel like spamming.

But if this site isn't monetarily as rewarding as they'd like, it's no one's fault but their own.

Like I've said before, hosting is cheap. They're not losing anything except time at this point, IMO.

Shinra Online is a forum they run, has shoutbox and arcade and whatnot, they frequented here for a month or so, actually tidied some things up, wasn't too bad, then they dissapeared, coming back only to break things with a "WE WILL FIX IT EVENTUALLY!" whilst they are regularly on their Shinra Online site, never showing up here or making an effort to do anything about the responsabilities they took on when Sculli fucked off.

Rate up Rappa. People frequent forums they enjoy - frankly if I were Nox, I'd let this site fall to shit while people jumped my shit left and right. Everyone here blabs at the mouth "I'm a courteous customer." Show it.

I still say the theme is an annoying one and would love to have it go back to Nightshift. Still though, what say do I really have for a no-cost place to entertain myself at work? Sure, I can voice my concerns, but no one here has a right to make demands or be discourteous about it.

Stop challenging their ability to run the site, stop making immature digs at them, stop crying foul at everything. And maybe, just maybe, administrators will respect the site enough to fix things in a timely manner.

Normally I'd almost be inclined to agree with this, but you're forgetting why people jumped their shit in the first place.
