Monday is the last day to register for voting in the National Election.

Your registration must be post marked by Monday for you to be eligible for the election in November.

Please if you have not registered and ARE old enough, do so because every vote does count!!

Thank You,

Mohoso

Been a registered independent for the last 7 years. I like to make the politicians WORK for my vote.^^

There should be an option for 'I'm on probation, and therefore unable to register'. ..though maybe that isnt a common enough plight

I will however make it my goal to sway at least one undecided voter to vote againt 4 more years of Bush, and therefore be satisfied that I have made a miniscule difference.

Or an option like "I am not an American, so I am not reposnsible for any screw-ups in November".

I'm not a US citizen. I always tell people who stop me in the street trying to get me to register to vote that I can't because I'm a convicted felon (I don't know what the law here in WA is about that, but it's amusing), and make most evil face at them. If they ask what I was convicted of, I say it involved an axe, and I don't want to talk about it.

I dont fully understand the Idea behind regestered voters. In canada, if you are 18, you can vote, thats it.

Well, you need to tell them who you are (to verify you're elegible), where you are (so you vote in the right place), and also to make sure you don't vote in more than one place, or more than one time, etc, etc.

I got a felony a couple years back and they deny me everytime I try and register. I'm trying to register again, so we'll see.

I can understand what it is for, but why do you have to go tell them your going to vote. We just get a letter in the mail telling us where our voteing location is, and when we vote.
