yes, i herd rumors saying they have been killd on quez, but for sure i only know Tiamat has, and i am sure ive been BRD JSE Armor on a BRD on teh server, BUT with all these high lv ppl, who think theyr all high and mighty, how can other servers pwn these daily now but yet we cannot yet?

-just curious.... i wanna know lol... not like i care tho haha ^^

anyway, why can no1 find a Harajnite Shell for Igqira Feet?

Vrtra has yet to be killed yet on any server, and if she has it's only been killed once.

Jormugand has been killed a few times server wide, mabye about 10 total.

Tiamat is the easiest one and is killed mabye weekly?
 
Vrtra was killed once I believe.. atleast to my knowledge.. maybe up to 3 times max but by the same group if anything. Jorg (whatever) has been killed atleast once on all servers I think.. not completely sure. And Tiamat is keeled pretty much weekly when you average the servers together
 
I fished that thing up on the boat once hehe... me and a thf were trying to kill it... ran outta time :(
 
Vrtra has never been killed on this server. Look for high lvl brds wearing the new jse body. There aren't any. I've been keeping an eye out. :cry: It is without a doubt the coolest of the new jse. Belly Dancer {Yes, Please.} :wink:

PS: She has to have been killed on other servers. Otherwise, websites wouldn't list her drops, including the lvl 71 provoke helm.

Those damn new HNMs...

If people on Quetzalcoatl took down those mobs more often, I'd have a Barone Corazza by now. lol (See my Barone Corazza post.) ...

I know that me TALKING about killin' 'em isn't enough. But if anyone's goin' after them, I'd like to come along, not for the drops, but just for the sake of Killing 'em.

The way I see it... If people atleast start killing these HNMs on a regular basis instead of killing Fafnir, Kirin, and Guivre all day long, that'd put alot of the rarer armors into circulation.

It wouldn't matter WHO'D get the "Molybdenum Ore" drop, or "Shining Cloth", or "Damascene Cloth" off the HNM... It'd be used for Synthesis. And eventually into Synthesizing some nice rings, or equips, and stuff like that, and put 'em into circulation...

That's the only thing I hate about Quetzalcoatl... I have friends on other servers like Midgardsomr... Lakshmi... Asura... Not just those servers, but the list goes on.... And I'm being told that there are Barone Corazzas in the Jeuno AH because people on those servers kill the HNMs on a routine basis, be it weekly or whatever, like you guys said. But all the newer armors I'd like to have... Not just the Corazza but the BRD Equpment like Sha'ir Manteel (BRD Body Armor. So new that it hasn't even been patched into the server yet. The Head, Legs, Feet, and Hands are in the AH, but not the body.) ... and Tracker's Kecks (Which I'm kinda envious that my friend Johnnyb has)... They're kind of a rare sight... I know the Bison set is kinda rare, because I've only seen ONE Mithra BST wearing it on Quetzalcoatl... The Sha'ir set is becomming slowly more common...

I'm just waiting for our server to "Get on the ball" and catch up to the other servers.

Svina was telling me the materials for the armor I'd want would cost somewhere nearing 15 Million... Hey, that's fine by me. That's more Synthesis Materials farming / HNM camps / High Lv. Spell Farming for me, but I'd still buy it if someone would Synthesize what I want for me. I'd gladly buy it, but the only issue is Availability.

I don't particularly care which LS or group of friends start killing these HNMs and selling the drops. English LS, or Japanese LS, as long as they put the Synthesis Materials into CIRCULATION, I'm cool with it. Because eventually, that means that their efforts will "trickle down" to me, and people like me, the Consumer. lol

I've said my thoughts on the subject. In short, I just want Quetzalcoatl to catch up to the other servers. I want us to "Represent". That's the main point I'm trying to get across.

Just because somethings not on the AH doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Items do not display on the Auction House UNTIL someone puts them up. Hence why Bastok, Windurst, and San d'Oria Auction Houses are severely slim in item selection compared to the Jeuno ones.

uhh i have seen TONS of peeps with the sha'ir <sp> armor on, i have scrnshot proof if ya want ^^

Vrtra is being farmed on Slyph weekly by a JP Hnm Ls

Tiamat is not the easyest, Vrtra is weaker then Tiamat

Cast a thundaga III on Tiamat his HP wont budge

Cast one on Vrtra its HP takes a dent. Vrtra is hard because of all the links which are VT to 75

Tiamat is hard because he spends 60% of the fight in the air.

Meaning only ranged and magic can hurt tiamat, and corses pop all
around tiamat as do air elementals

So0o0o0o0 Tiamat > Vrtra

I dont know alot about Jormugand :oops:


Edit: That NM that drops the shell for Blm JSE feet also drops a "Nebonite Belt" Which despenses 1 nebonite every 24 hours :shock: it has around 50ish charges o . o

That is, if prices are'nt jacekd up because someone is controlling the drop. Maybe money is not an issue for you, but it is for most.

I finally gathered enough money last night to attempt a few Hawker's Knife..... or so I though. Freakin dragon heart is now 1 million when it used to be 800K. No way I am risking loosing 600K to make a +1.

I can't wait for people to start complaining the price of the knives have increased and then blame the crafters. :roll:

Anyway, I'm looking for a Dragon Heart by the way, if you have one, I'll buy it right away for 800K. :)
 
harajnite is TOUGH!!!
he aint strong... but his defense is just SICK!!!!

It hasnt been taken down because a significantly sized cannon is needed to take it out.
I watched a rdm and a blm try fight it once, they didnt scratch it. When it hides in its shell you cant do nothing but sit there and gawk at its awsome defensive prowess. Thundaga3 while its hiding in there and you'd be lucky to do 150 dmg.
The fact that it spawns on a boat makes things sorta hard to. You only have so much time to kill it before the ship reaches its destination.

Igquira feet have +++PLUS+++ 2 enmitiy... so theyre not really that sought after. I still want a pair though :P
 
Well there is a couple reason that these monsters are not killed on our server and I can tell you why right here right now:

-No NA HNM shell is currently powerful enough by themself to be able to take down one of these monsters. There are about half a dozen NA HNM shells out there right now, but they are only looking to equip themselves with enough members to beat Kirin, not the real big 3. This could be fixed, but there would need to be a leader to set up and do it. And it woudl still take time.

-Same goes for the JP HNM shells right now. The JP allaince that controled the 3 kings for such a long time has been broken and new allainces are being formed (80 people camping fafnir, what server is this, Asura O.o). So while they maybe powerful enough to take them down, even if they did, I doubt it would be put up for sale.

-And the biggest reason now one camps them. The risk vs. reward for these dragons it the worst. You need 24-36 people to take these dragons down, and you all have seem the drops. Convincing that many people to go on a regular basis to kill these monsters is a pain like you would not believe (I know from personaly experience).

Good luck trying to get the armor Devi, if you are willing to pay, you should be able to find it soon enough.
 
Tiamat was killed by a NA/JPN all smn and bst group. (Think it was 2 or 3 alliances, 1 main and the rest for adds) They had an easy time of it. Maybe we should try the same? How many 70+ bst and smn do we have? We could be owning Tiamat and maybe doing the same to the others.

Thanks, Dua. You don't know how incredibly angry I was to know that someone beat me to buying it by ONE friggin' day. I was a day late! After saving Gil for months. lol

Shit, If I had that Barone Corazza, I'd probably be the only NA player on Quetzalcoatl who owned one. And that right there would've been awesome within itself.

People on Allakhazam saying that "Sometime after chapter 4 in Promathia missions, you can buy a Barone Corazza off an NPC for a 'Stupid Ammount'... 4 Million Gil"... I'm almost POSITIVE that's a rumor, because as far as CoP missions go, I'm not past Chapter 4 yet, but I'm close. I got my Pso'Xja Pass and I'm ready to fight Diabolos. I hear alot of rumors that contrast with the "Corazza being available off an NPC" rumor. One, there's a number of people who're past the mission, like yourself, Dua, and if that's the case, I'd have seen it by now. And two, I hear instead other stuff like, If you beat Diabolos:

"...You get to use the AH from the Tavnazian Safehold."
"...You get to ride a ship to the Safehold."
"...You get to deliver supplies to the Tavnazian Archipelago outpost." (There is one. It's the two NPCs right outside the zone to the safehold in Lufaise Meadows.)

But yeah. That did rather upset me. But instead of wasting my Gil, I'm juxt gonna save it and do as little spendin' as possible. Hopefully, yes, like you said Dua. I'll come across another one for sale sooner or later. That'd be so awesome...

Either that, or the Sha'ir Manteel (BRD JSE Body)... I slapped the whole set on my Character in the FFXI Model Viewer...

I looked like friggin' Aladdin...

The black-haired Elvaan in Sha'ir set looks middle-eastern! lol! I can't wait until all the new armors increase in availability.

But for now, I guess I gotta get back to farmin'...

They got more cool armor coming in.. can't wait hoping rdm get something.
