what the heck does "W" mean?

maybe i'm mistaken, maybe i made it up, but i could have sworn that "W" is a way some JP say "fuck you" or some other form of insult.

i wonder becasue
- someone i know said that to me the other day when i /poked him and
- i had a JP BRD in my PT the other day and she used "W" a couple of times, but we had not done anything to warrant an insult.

maybe "W" is a good thing?
