Its kind of sad and ironic that the OP had to mention grammar nazis in his OP, because had he not, I would have thought this closed around page 4 (which seems to be the idea behind the Flameboard lately).

As far as i know you've never done anything other than simply lead the runs.

to admins: i dont know who decides to edit/delete posts, and the criteria in which u do so. but it seems to me that either u guys play favorites, or u are completely clueless. i mean, how do u delete a post in which someone express their point of view, on topic, yet leave up some nonsense that is obviously a derail/run-on from another thread? i see why the more reasonable people avoid this site, and in particular the flameboard, like the plague. its bad enough we have idiots like jyakotsu to deal with. but censorship is where i draw the line. please close this topic, lest we be submitted to further acts of bias. good day sirs.

Yes, we do play favorites. On the flameboard, we play favorites to those who post something that is on topic and actually adds something to the thread. We delete posts that simply say "popcorn" "ibtl" or typical just a post saying "u suck. no u." So yep. There's our bias. I can assure you no post thats been removed neither adds nor takes anything away from the thread. Nothings been deleted because of who the person is. I don't even know you and I don't care about whether people agree with you or disagree with you, lol. Just because you're realizing what everyone really thinks of you doesn't mean we're hiding all the posts that defend you. Good lord, "sir."

No, its not a derail. OP addressed grammar nazis right from the get-go. And no, the grammar doesn't have anything to do with deleted posts. Guidelines are available in the sticky should you need information on how things are conducted.

I agree, it just makes you question maturity however; it's not much different from a first impression you only have what you see before you to make a decision and you make it, then you observe to see if you are right or wrong.

Since this isn't a job interview where something like that might be true. How about rather then making an automatic decision about someone then forcing the person to prove you right or wrong maybe don't just a book by it's cover? I've met some very eloquent speaking assholes so I personally do not use that as some sort of excuse to berate someone. Not you necessarily K. Ishitar but a lot of people who have never even engaged with the OP in game are doing now.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do know the OP very well and maybe that might make my defense of him biased but he's the totally down to earth. The kind of person who will always have your back and never let you down. Hell, I'd even buy him a beer if I lived close to him.

Yup. We do miss some every now and then. Despite popular belief, moderators do have other things to do sometimes other than F5 a site they volunteer their time for. Not work for, volunteer for.

Now typically, since we're all a part of the site, most users would note something like that and use the handy report system to report something that may go against the guidelines. Really cool people like to work with us, not against us. Trust me when I say things go much easier when that happens.

I bet if we voted it still wouldn't matter because in a privately owned site you don't have a democracy. Not everything a moderator does needs to be or deserves to be questioned. I really don't think you, of all people, should try to hold some credibility considering what the majority of the userbase thinks of you. I know you're such a badass and you don't give a fuck what people think about you or not. I'm glad you like my jargon and I'm glad your point is so weak that that is what you have to resort to. Making fun of a word that I use.

Consider this thread locked now that its just another attack on moderation. As a warning to everyone now, not just myself, but the staff as a whole is sick and fucking tired of everyone's attitudes towards moderation. Expect less toleration for it in the near future.
