Walter Cronkite's Final Headline

Wow, now THIS man was an icon. The greatest, and most trusted television anchor that has ever lived. He was straightforward, and honest to the highest degree. The news networks need more people like him to be honest. R.I.P. Mr. Cronkite.

He was a hell of a newsman, a real reporter and not one of the blow-dried news readers anchors who seem to dominate these days. I was just a kid when he retired, but I've always liked him.

Whoa, just read the article. Pretty cool. I've heard his name from time to time, just never knew who he was because, well I just don't watch enough TV.

In other news...Wolf Blitzer is awesome.

A real classy guy. He did his job as an anchor properly, unlike the ones these days, and without bias. My Dad and I were talkin' and we couldn't come up with a single time he ever revealed his stance on somethin' while giving the news. As legendary as the guy is you'd figure at least a few of these anchors today would have taken somethin' from watchin' him.

LOL highly doubt that, seeing as to networks now hire their anchors based on which ones they can control and what biases they hold as well. Walter Cronkite was the last of his kind to be honest.

That's why I said, "you'd figure", because there isn't a single one.
