Wanted Medicineman

OK, first this isn't a flame thread but I will save time to the mod since I presume it would become one after first or second answer...

I'll explain situation shortly but as good as I could.

For the people who know me they know I left ffxi in last october/november whit out the purpose on comming back. I had school/work/girlfriend and not enought time to go take a bear whit my friend...

As time pass thing change, school over ( was time ), I was dumpedd by my girl friend since she came third after school and work and every thing. Thing is Medicinman as took charge of my account and paid it for that time wich I am thank full.

Now I would have like to maybe come back since I have time but even after 2 email and 1private message sent 1 week ago I haven't got a news.

Yes I know I said i wasn't comming back so people please save your time and don't post something about that. I never would be able to take it back by force after giving it to you but at least I would have like to have news if we could comme to an arrangement...

That about my post, not asking for gil, not asking for my account, just asking for a talk between two civilized people. So if some one could help me talk whit him greatly apreciated.

P.S I actually never wanted to put drama every where whit that post because I had more then I could took in the last 2 month
 
Im not sure this would end up a flame, so General Discussion might have worked.

If you want, though, we here at QCDN pride ourself at turning anything into a flame.

I still have no answer from him sended pm on qcdn/antares forum/BDS forum and on email can some people tell medi msg that I am trying to get in contact whit him nicely. That would be nice

You putting this out on a public forum instead of trying to solve this privately starts you out with a black mark already. He doesn't owe you anything, including a conversation.

He said in his post that he had tried to contact him privately a few different ways without result, Kink. Doesn't exactly justify a post on the flameboard where this thing started, but I can see where he might try to locate someone else who knows/is in contact with this other guy. No, the guy doesn't owe him anything, seeing that he's been paying for the account, but he could at least acknowledge his attempts to contact him and say a simple, "No, thanks."

That said, to the OP, you asked everyone not to say anything about the fact that you planned to not come back, but honestly, that plays a big part in this equation. You basically gave your account away. You were no longer paying for it, and made it clear you had no intention of returning. While I don't agree with this guy dodging your inquiries, frankly, I think asking for it back is kinda presumptuous of you. You've been gone almost six months, and it would seem this "friend" you gave your account to is not someone you found important enough to keep in touch with outside of FFXI. I think since Hellstorm sent him a message in game and he still hasn't contacted you, it's probably a good indication that he has no intention of getting in touch with you. I'd say reevaluate whether or not you really want to return to this game, and if you still do that badly, you're probably going to have to do what lots of people do: start fresh.

:Sigh: seems like I have to spell things out on every single post these days.

Seeing as Medicineman is a member of QCDN, and his last visit was yesterday, why does this guy keep caterwauling in the forums and keep trying to get multiple people to contact Medicineman, when Medicineman obviously doesn't want to talk to the guy.

Sending a pm makes sense, a generic post .. something like "Medcineman please contact me!" would work. But getting other people to post messages on his endgame linkshell webpage and multiple people sending him tells boarders on harassment.

I am absolutely sure that by now Medicineman is aware that the OP wants to talk to him and for whatever reason, Medicineman has most likely decided he's not interested in discussion. Perhaps he found the OP a goofy jerk and doesn't want to waste his time in endless discussion. We all know what the kid wants, he wants his account back. Well I don't think he's getting it back because of the astounding lack of interest Medicineman has shown. More people sending him PMs and tells isn't going to make any difference.

Because I wouldn't like it if someone did it to me. That's the rule I live by. Essentially the guy is using the forum to garner some support from a group of people he hopes to get all riled up and start pressuring MM to give the guy his account. Otherwise why would he keep bumping the post when people have said they have emailed the guy?

The guy needs to suck it up and start over. <scrathes her sweaty balls, finds them missing>
