Just saw this today (I think today was the opening?). I like it. It's about a guy who works a dead end job and lives a dead end life, but is told he is a part of a thousand year old clan of assassin's called The Fraternity.

I liked the dialogue and the expressions/reactions that most of the cast portrayed. The action sequences along with some slow-motion mixed in was pretty neat too.

Spoiler:
First time i've heard Morgan Freeman use the term "mother fucker"!

The main character also kinda looked like Zach Braff.

Anyone else catch this?

I saw the commercial for it during my trip to the states. I was sad as I returned home on the 23rd, and the opening was 27th =( Yes, that means I want to see it, but have not had the chance to do so.

Go read the comic. I have a feeling too much stuff was censored out of this to make it as entertaining as it could be and from your brief description i'm willing to bet they just gutted the entire plotline amazingly even worse than spiderman3 on this.

I've never read the comic, but I thought the movie was pretty damn good.

Saw it today, I like it. If you one those people that go to movies looking for realism then this not the movie for you. If you like action pact stunts, mix with comedy and pretty good story plot this your type of movie. It is definitely different then most movies out today.

Been waiting for this since Jan when i saw the trailer at Rambo...it looks kick ass and i am gonna go watch it on Sunday

I haven't seen it, but i bought the comic the day it came out years ago. This movie looks nothing like it though.

In the comic the main character face was based off M&M and fox was based of Halle Berry.

Excellent movie. Just saw it tonight with very great results. I went in expecting a cheap matrix-esque movie and ended up with a far better film. There were so many jokes that made certain moments priceless. I'm so glad it ended with a complete story too, none of that hollywood bullshit ending leading into a possible sequel. The concept was great, though predictable storyline for anyone with a little creative thinking into the main plot options in a given opening sequence.

The one amazing thing in this movie was how much they made sure every detail was covered. I really didn't see any situations where by the rules of the movie world were broken or ignored. They kept the comedic lines coming even when the action was at its apex. In the final major action sequence, I think I could watch it at least 10 times and still not have caught all the intricacies they put in. With that scene vs the lobby scene in the first Matrix, I think Wanted easily wins in quality and entertainment value.

definatly worth the money, entertaining, and most of it is "new", also very funny at times

The movie felt to rushed upon me but I really, really enjoyed it. In the stream of shit that makes it to the box office these days, this movie is very welcomed from me.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!" lol priceless.. needles to say we all want to say that to our boss :X

It was alright I dunno I think I'm just not impressed by media these days :\

Same.

Saw it last night and I enjoyed it. And yeah LOL at your spoiler elei, that made me crack up.

I loved this movie. I didn't know there was a comic until I heard about it on the TV (gogo random TV flipping). It was a nice gulp of air from the usual things Hollywood tries to put out for a quick buck.

I really liked it. I was going to see it no matter how much it might suck, since I've had the hots for James McAvoy since Children of Dune. I always appreciate it when a costume designer says "Shirts are overrated. No need to wear one," and it's nice that decision carried over to this film for at least a few minutes.

Neyla said I'm a sick motherfucker for laughing at the target practice segment with the meat hooks.

Definitely something I'll buy on DVD when it comes out.
