I'll work on this as often as I can filling it with general information about all things in game and useful links. Please note all information is subject to change before release via patches etc.
Races & Classes - Extremely basic information, more info can be found on the Warhammer Wiki
Order
Empire: Empire are the "good" humans of Warhammer, they are Germanic in name and nature, their capital city is Altdorf and their ruler is the Emperor Karl Franz. There are many gods that are worshipped in the Empire but the main deity is Sigmar
Witch Hunter - Melee DPS
Bright Wizard - Ranged Magic DPS
Warrior Priest - Melee Healer
Dwarfs: The Dwarfs are your typical fantasy Dwarfs they love their ale and they love to make machinery. Their capital city was overrun by Greenskins and they are determined to take it back. The only thing a Dwarf loves more than ale is gold. The Dwarfs have an Oath with the Empire to come to the Empires aid when necessary after Sigmar's defence of the Dwarfs at Black Fire Pass
Ironbreaker - Tank
Engineer - Ranged Defensive DPS, Turrets, Barbed Wire etc
Runepriest - Healer (Probably Order's most healeresque healer)
High Elfs: The High Elfs are an extremely intelligent race. However, they often suffer from a lack of emotion. They have come to realise many emotions contribute to the power of Chaos and therefore try to suppress extreme emotion.
Swordmaster - Tank
Archmage - Ranged Healer
White Lion - Melee DPS/Pet Class
Shadow Warrior - Ranged DPS
Destruction
Chaos: Chaos are the corrupted Humans from the North. (or converts from the Empire) They worship the dark gods (Tzeentch in Warhammer Online) and have a neverending feud with the Empire.
Chosen - Tank
Zealot - Healer (Equivalent to the Runepriest)
Marauder - Melee DPS
Magus - Defensive Ranged DPS
Greenskins: The Greenskins (Orcs and Goblins) are Warhammer's equivalent to Soccer Hooligans, they are big, burly, of lesser intelligence to the other races and love nothing more than a good fight, even if it's amongst themselves.
Black Orc - Tank
Shaman - Ranged Healer
Squig Herder - Ranged DPS/Pet Class
Dark Elfs: The Dark Elfs leader Malekith was the rightful heir to the Elfen throne, however his lust for blood and battle lead the Elfs to denounce him. Thus Malekith and his follows went into exile waging a bloody civil war against their brethren the High Elfs.
Witch Elf - Melee DPS
Disciple of Khaine - Melee Healer
Sorceress - Ranged Magic DPS
Squig Herder

Public Quests
There are currently 300 (at last count, some may have been removed/added) public quests in game. Public quests become active once entering an area where a public quest is active. You can join in a public quest at any time of its cycle. Public quests repeat themselves a few minutes after they have ended. There are generally 3-4 stages to a public quest, culminating in a boss fight. You are awarded points (seemingly up to 400) for contribution and are then awarded a random roll (up to 1000 apparently). Depending on the number of participants the top few players are then given a choice of gold/gear/items useful to their class. You can partcipate in a Public Quest as many times as you want, as long as you do not exceed the Tiers level range.
NB. Testers have reported that healing group/warband members gives an extremely noticeable increase in contribution over soloing and healing everyone.
PvP Information:
Scenarios
There are currently 7 types of Scenario (similar to WoW BG's), these are
Bombing Run - Deliver your Bomb to the target
Capture The Flag
Capture and Hold
King Of The Hill
Murder Ball - The murder ball is placed in the middle of the map, the team to pick it up gains points for their realm over time and also gets extra points if the person with the murder ball kills someone. However, should the carrier be killed the opposing realm will get double the amount of victory points. The ball is then dropped and is able to be picked up
Team Deathmatch
Tug Of War - Capture The Flag with a twist. The first flag is in the centre of the map, capturing this and holding it for a predetermined period of time will open another flag for capture closer to your enemy's base. The closer you get to your enemy's base the more points you will receive.
The current scenarios are:
* Battle for Praag (Tug of War, Level 31-40, Empire vs Chaos Area)
* Bilerot Burrow
* Black Crag Keep
* Black Fire Basin (Capture The Flag, Level 23-40, Dwarf vs Greenskin Area)
