Warhammer ?

So whats up with war? Anyone play it still? Is it worth getting in to or should I stick with WoW?

From what I understand it's settling down into a niche MMO with a small player base, and servers are being consolidated to maintain activity levels.

I quit, my server apparently moved while I've been away.

Ultimately I write WAR up as a case of brilliant concept, failed execution. They rushed the game out with insufficient content and playtesting, they failed to keep up with the necessary pace of changes required to maintain their players, and the game itself just ran poorly on many machines.

Game is still terrible.

I canceled my account for the second time and it is up at the end of the month and I will not be renewing.

I just started up recently due to my server being merged with another to see how things were after some time, and since I am waiting for Aion, I thought I would give it a spin.

WAR should be called Warhammer: Age of Bad Coding.
There are still bugs galore, lag spikes with large RvR battles, jobs are still no where near balanced, CC is over the top, and the new expansion Land of the Suck, has caused a huge decrease for Mythic's numbers (thus calling for the merge for several servers)

Good to know. Half my WoW guild including the leader, left the guild and WoW to take up warhammer. Wonder if they'll stay as part of the niche or come back begging to be in the guild they started.
