Warhawk help

So when I put warhawk into my ps3, it goes to a black screen with the white text "Loading..." and then the screen goes black and never loads the game.

Anyone know why this is? I've already exchanged the disc once for a brand new one, with the same result. I can't for the life of me figure out why I can play CoD4 online no problem but warhawk won't even load.

Are you making sure you are connected to the PSN first?

Yes I am connected to PSN when I put the game in, and the call of duty online works just fine. For whatever reason the Warhawk just won't load.

Try and see if the disc works on another PS3, if it does, then call Sony tech support. Alternatively I'd say just bring it back and buy it on the PSN store, but if the PsN version doesn't work then you can't return it.

I'm wondering if its not IP related, because I've had issues with my PC and laptop on the network since getting my ps3. That doesn't explain why CoD4 works okay though.

If you're having network issues, try disabling media sharing if it's enabled on your XMB.

Yeah, I have problems with my network connections since getting mine too.

Semi-related:

Is flying that new drop ship hard? I was playing yesterday and this asshole kept flying us right into a building, until we got shot down. I seriously wanted to punch him in the face.

Even less-related:

You know what's awesome? Putting mines on the front of your jeep and ramming the jeep that has your flag. I know everyone does it, or whatever, its just sweet as hell.

I had to reformat my entire pS3 and redownload all the updates, but Warhawk finally works.
