Warning {Can I Have It}

Well I XP'd in the tree last night and after months of not getting a level I hit 54, had about a 100 xp buffer on my level when I had to leave. I logged in about 3-4 hours later to see if I could get rid of the coffer key that I got with no luck. I decided to run outside and try my luck on some Gobbues (sp?) for 15 minutes and then try again. I run around the corner w/o sneak on as nothing near the zone out to Zi Tah aggros when...

BOOM! "Robber Crab hits you for 200 damage, BOFF! Robber Crab hits you for 160 Damage, ZIP! Robber Crab hits you for 210 damage, Sabia was defeated by the robber crab, Sabia Levels Down."

I lost my AF gloves (I know they suck but they are pretty) and Ecliptic Howl because someone couldn't give the rest of the zone a warning that they're training an aggroing mob to the zone. If I had know there was a freakin Robber Crab at the zone I would of put up sneak.

When you train an aggroing mob to the zone PLEASE use Shout to Give the Rest of the zone a warning so this doesn't happen. This is one thing the Valk Dunes peeps do better than you high levels....at least when some little theif newbie trains 6 gobs to the zone they give a warning.... :roll:

This sucks...50 TNL >.<

It's not the leveling down that bothered me guys, it's the fact someone trained an argroing mob to the zone and didn't feel the need to warn people. A helpful shout would save a lot of greif...who knows how many more peeps that crab aggro'd on it's way back to the belly of the tree >.<
 
I'm a firm believer that if by Boyahda Tree and Zi-Tah zones... if you don't know proper manners and couth, you'll never know.

In Kuftal we had a group of people, Yijianke, Wbanwat, Huihui, and a few others kept training Haunts and (Lizards? o.O) to the zone behind us... we had to finally give up and leave because we could only get in chain 3 then have a 20 min down time. :(

By the way, can anybody give me some info on this Yijianke fellow? A while back while pt'ing the CN he was our WHM, and he stayed on /anon the whole time. He was very bossy and could barely speak English. After the first few fights, he began Charming the mob once it got down to a low hp level. So no XP for us >< And the pt leader wouldn't kick him!!! :x

Huihui and Wbanwat... Those are two names I recognize.

And I'm just about positive that they're both gilsellers.

Yiji and Wbanwat are both members of Redmagic linkshell, other names from the shell you might recongnize are Flood and Asurathief, i think Huihui is with them too, though i'm not 100% sure on that. They are most certainly sellers, they're pretty common morion campers.
 
Warnings would be nice. A few days ago when I was exp'ing in Kuftal Tunnel near the zone to Cape Terrigan a RDM in full AF ran by with a crap load of robber crabs, I THINK I saw a Recluse Spider in there, and of course that big scorpion I never caught the name of. Needless to say the train got to the zone before all of us could zone out.

So afterwards after going out to see the RDM at the zone leading back into Kuftal. There was no apology, nothing. A member of my party, who I won't name instead got an emote named at him along the lines of " /em looks at <t> and wonders how he can be so gay" or something similar, which resulted in a /slap. >.>;

So afterwards I asked the RDM why she never made a shout saying there was a train coming to the cape terrigan zone. She said she shouted there was an incoming train. I never saw it, wasn't in my logs. Wasn't in anyones log. So she lied right off the bat about that. :\
Her excuse for the train was that sneak 'wore off without warning'. Fair enough, though I didn't quite believe that.

Even after that I asked the RDM to say sorry to our WHM who was the only person who died. Once I asked that I was countered with "stop harassing me or I'll report you to a GM" then "{Do you need it} /blist"

Wth is up with people these days, is it that hard to hit auto run for a few seconds and type "/shout Train to <zone name>"? =\

The WHM didn't seem to mind though, just wanted to get back to exp'ing. But I'd imagine it's common courtesy to warn people of an incoming train?

Anyway, sorry for ranting on. n_n Sorry you died, Sabia.
 
Nah, it couldn't just be left at "even newbies who zone in the dunes have the common curtousy"... it had to be "even newbie thief's..."

Oh right, assholes who zone and don't shout anything... yeah, that's a pain. Never really gotten me killed though. Nasty crabs. :evil:

No Offense to Thieves, they're probably my fave melee class but frankly in the dunes when it's a new party with no subjobs - the thief is pulling. I know, I've spent many hours there killing trains...CHOO CHOO!
 
Very true. I made the mistake of killing time there with my Dragoon and... bit off more then I could chew. Red means STOP AND CURE... >_<

There was a thief once who ran by my pt exping at the zone from kuftal to teriggan and trained a shitload of crabs without warning or apology on us. I gave em a good blacklisting. Forgot about them, then months later I invited her to exp with me when I'd caught up. No response. That was funny. =p I kept asking and she kept coming back from windurst and not responding to me. By the time I realized it, decided to forgive and take off blacklist... meh we were full. Guess we're even. ;o
 
Yeah it happens enough, we were xping at the Cape zone in kuftal, and after already being trained by like 2 crabs (the first time) 1(the second time) finally we can the big toast.... training like 30 crabs and our lovely favorite wannabe-crab dragon bisch guivre (whatever) smack among his crab brothers. Fun times fun times. >.< you can't stop it, just thank the people who do warn you, and blist those who don't. Wish life had blist lol
