Ok i got a msg with a link in it from a guy in my LS. i clicked on the link thinking since it was from him he was just trying to show me somethin, but after i clicked on it HIJACKED my msn msger and sent the very same link out to EVERYONE on my contact list, and then msn msger crashed,


Now im getting all kinds of popups and shit and my computer is freakin out

i sighned back on then got the same msg BACK form half the ppl on my contact list before seeing them diappear, i have ALOT of ppl form this site on my list, not sure who all it got
but i felt i needed to post this as a warning, its prob spreading to everyone.

if you get a link in a msg form someone on your contact list with no followup or explination as to what it is.

DONT OPEN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I got this too Thelona, and its starting to piss me off -_-
 
remember to run those in safe mode.. otherwise embedded/running objects wont be removed.
 
ok update, ad aware SE and spynot Search and destroy found MOST of the shit it put on my computer, but not everything,

your gonna need to get rid of 3 exes taht they dont find, svShost.exe,(not the legit svChost.exe that SHOULD be on your computer but svShost.exe)

pokapoka72.exe wich makes itself write protected so your gonna need to get a porgram like "Hijack This" to delete it and its entire file on startup

and IEXPLORER.exe (also made to LOOK like a legit process) DONT delete Explorer.exe cause you NEED that, but Iexplorer.exe
 
Thanks for the heads up (even though you tried to virus me too :P evil thel...) But I didn't click it because I've seen various viruses like this for msn before (thank god).

Just hope it hasn't spread too far, don't click links from strangers.... or should that be don't click strange links from people? Either way....
 
tell ya, id like to spen 20 mins in a locked room with the person or type of ppl that make and spread this shit,

its truly sadistic that some ppl get thier kicks by making and spreading viruses and spyware with the sole intention of FUCKING radom people over :evil:

Is this that "lmao! Is this you?! *insert linkage here*" one? If so, I got that about 4 months ago. Now everytime I restard my computer it turns off my virus scan, thus raping my computer. It sucks, but I've learned to deal.
 
Some ass gave me a virus (from MSN) awhile ago. Telling me there is a pure ownage patch and gave me a virus. And that was from the Doom community. I no longer except links that I don't know. MSN is just getting gayer and gayer each time I use it.
 
Thats why you dont click on files that have .exe at the end without knowing exactly what your going to execute :lol:
 
How the hell was I supposed to know??? =P Eh... I was a noobie I'll admit. n00bs learn the hard way.
