People on BG might have figured out what the problem is. The normal bonus for double weather is a straight 25%, making the modifier 1.25. When they added Scholar, they might have added a new formula to modify monster attacks depending on the weather, only, they accidentally misplaced a decimal, making it 12.5 instead of 1.25. Thus, the normal Restoral is increased to 43750 instead of 3500, and Discoid is increased to 55000 from 4400. Additionally, they accidentally leave it on 100% of the time, resulting in Erucas being able to use Fireweather-only moves, even though its not Fireweather.

If this holds true for both PC and NPC players, the easiest and fastest way to get it fixed, is to go as BLM and manaburn puddings with a constant double weather effect activated. I suppose it works on HNM's and other events as well. But if it works, the fastest way to get SE to fix something is to abuse it to death.

They changed how you get temp items in Besieged a while back. You get them if you watch the cutscene, and then periodically they give them out again. If you show up after it's started you won't get them right away.
