Warping on your PT.

I was war/nin lev 45 pt in CN.

Now I know solo War/Nin is tuff, yet if given full support of pt will work. Heres some things i just hate that happened in my pt. Oh and no thf to stick hate on me like i asked for, however there were none looking.

Now i have no problem tanking and when shit goes wrong the Blm casts Escape and gets the pt out of trouble, even if I die while tanking atleast PT is alive.

When things go wrong and I tank 2 mobs to try and hold on for the pt with hope of some HELP from either hi levs walking by or another pt, Don't be a Bitch and use a warp scroll and ditch the pt.

I died 4 times in like 2 hours I don't mind dieing, but when you ditch out like that with everyone else risking there lives for the team thats uncalled for and FUCKED UP.

I don't give a fuck if you leveled the fight before and a death will de-level you so what we will get it back.

Oh and RDM, second RDM not the original, if my hp is in the red and you are main healer would be nicce for a cure to come my way instead of you popping a cookie, and I die cuz of no cure, and refresh the Mutha Fucking brd god dammit so he/she can back up cure and get rid of poison and shit. Brd gave you Ballad you should have gave em refresh.

Mnk when i say help out with tanking and let me get my shadows up that means voke and do it every battle not when you feel like it.
 
Just assuming here. Maybe the RDM was midcast or in between a recast (16sec). that 16 sec can really suck sometimes. Like it or not Refresh takes some time... get to everyone. I am just assuming this is what happen. Cause I know ive been bitched at several times while I am waiting on recast from impatient 'Refresh addicts' . but they CAN cast a Cure during that recast .. so I dunno just pointing out possibilities here lol
 
When I was a newbie BLM I warped out of the crawler's nest one time when my party was swarmed by 3 Exorays....I'm sorry I freaked and warped but I'm sure not sorry I lived.....The party THF used Flee and was still run down and killed so warp is all that saved me. In short....people panic....experience helps to replace panic with more productive actions.

I am sorry for what happened to you though....
 
i would be pissed too. if the back up tank didn't voke. (I am WAR/NIN as well) and if i am dying, the RDM should be a healer. as for BRD. i really dont care what he does. He just buffs me for the fight ^^. i feel your pain though Ghal. Ive had a BLM ditch me before as well. and a THF Flee because we got linked... I always die for my party too. It feels good when they survive, but when they run like bitches... thats uncalled for. I feel your pain Ghal

Oh and that was truly messed up. As for the BLM, ever heard of Escape? what the hell.
 
Just a suggestion, next time if you have any doubt about the party's capability, sub MNK (if you have it leveled).
WAR/NIN requires a lot of cooperation from mages, and that's unlike to happen in pick-up parties in the 40s.
 
We didn't have a black mage. the party set up was BRD (me), RDM (lordchibi), DRG (Deuce), RNG (Pauge), MNK (not sure who), WAR (Ghaleon).

First off the red mage was subbing summoner which i didn't think was too good of an idea becuase 1. He was a taru he had far more MP than other red mages neways and 2. No divine seal, poisona, paralyna, etc. The red mage was also wearing +VIT and a +STR ring fully equipped with armor. No MP plus or MND or INT plus. The red mage would only refresh himself and would rest with full mp while the tank was dying. I asked him to write on a peice of paper refresh the BARD and put it on his screen so he would remember but he didnt obviously.

The monk didn't provoke when utsemsi was down.

The DRG and the RNG are the people Ghaleon is flaming for warping out. Ghaleon had died several times and the DRG made the ignorant comment "Well I haven't died yet so I don't care". Then when we got a link the RNG and DRG used their scrolls of instant warp. Granted they would have died, its not right that Ghaleon had to die for the fourth time or so tanking the mobs and working hard when he could have hit instant warp too. You just dont warp out of a party, you stay and take the death like a man. Its not "O ok we have a link, You tank the mobs and keep them busy while we escape out of here."
 
they diddn't warp cuz of panic. because i tanked those 2 mobs for quite a bit before i went down they warp because they diddn't want death.

I would have subbed mnk but leader insisted on /nin and i was looking for pt for almost 4 hours so i have to take what i can get.

Refresh recast time is 14 secs? dun matter there isn't anyone else he has to refresh cept himself so refreshing the brd ain't so hard. now if there was a blm and a whm and a brd i can understand the brd not getting refresh love, however in that setup brd won't have to heal only rarely.

But my main prob is warping out on pt. I pulled plenty of times i pulled crawlers and got linked i stood out in the field and took the death i would never bring it to pt unless i knew we could take it. only time i would run away is if we are next to zone and everyone else zoned out already cuz i got voke and if i can save someone then i will.


JUST DON"T WARP OUT ON PT DAMMIT.
 
Listen to Ghal. Warping and leaving the rest of your PT behind is fucking ignorant! Thanks for the names of the RDM and the DRG. I will never party with those 2 Idiots ever! Ghal your a true Warrior. Dying for the PT. Those ignorant fuckers that warped are just a bunch of fags. I hope it doesn't hhappen to you again G.
 
Why tank two mobs when an RDM has Sleep? I had a thief in Gustav last night who would get a link and run off to die, only to have me chase her down to sleep one and dia the other. It's noble to want to take one for the team, but not always necessary if your mages are awake.
 
i know rdm has sleep but both mobs were awake.

I fought off links before when one is slept and everything, i dun know what happened.
 
sometimes the DDs aren't smart enough to attack 1 mob LOL

I can't count the number of times I sleep a mob with a macro that says:

Sleep <t> disengage enemy!!! <call3>

only to have them attack the mob I slept as well as the other one :D

Well, that is entirely your loss. Do me a favor and quit bringing it up.

You seem to think your cures and raises are something I can't get from the other mages I actually know who love me to pieces. You know, the ones who have done more then read one bad post of mine and held a grudge?

Not like I often need a raise or even care. I just hit fifty though, so maybe that will change.

Tell you what though. If you can get over my post, and yourself, I'd be glad to help you with anything I can. :D
