take these by a case by case scenario. In your case seem you go screwed. Least he should done would be "hey this guy ready to go I'm going take him." In that case I can understand because it a case of you snooze, you lose.(to clarify that a "hey I got do this first before I party" scenario not a "I'm in jeuno it going take me a min to get to whitegate" scenario.) As for party disbanding while you in transit or my favorite just get invited, fight 1 mob then disband scenario, that not always the leader fault. particularly when a jp in the party (no disrespect to jp) common trend seem to be [I'm sleepy][goodbye]... disband. Then there the person A say 15min till have go you find replacement for him, then person B decide it time for him to go to. Then there the tank or healer magically dc and don't come back. In short don't be so quick to blacklist the leader because party disbands. Though in op example name would be nice because that person seem to be a prick.

I agree with you but in my case my CS was really short and all I had to do was Warp back to Whitegate cause I subbed BLM. So it was a 2 minute wait for him. I got screwed over 2 minutes. That's inconsiderate if you ask me.

If I am the leader, or if im just finding a replacement for myself, I try to ask the party how long they plan on staying. I have started to blist some who either do what the OP described, or when a member decides to up and leave w/o replacement, even though a replacement for someone else already wasted their time getting there ( Aurorastar TW PLD ).

ya do that to, but still have had people suddenly dc and not come back. Very rare though
