Why I dont like the guy? Please Read.

Reason1
Back in the day during AF hunting, I was looking for an XP or Coffer key hunt (Citadel) Party. I was running errands around Jueno, when I get Tell from Tilk who was asking for help in getting his AF hat in the Citadel as well. I told him that I would rather xp or even get a pt together for the Citadel coffer key. He enthusiastically says, "after I get my hat, I will be your whm to get that key." Well.. not know who he was.. I said awesome. We pick up a RDM named Gilga (>.<) a Nin, a BLM, another PLD, and a HL BLM. Well.. we get his hat via the banishing gates fiasco... and then escape outta the Citadel so we can go hunt some keys. I started getting discouraged coz the other PLD and HL BLM had to leave leaving only 5 of us. We picked up another Damage dealer so I was a happy camper again. I knew something wasn't right when Tilk says we have to hunt the Weapons in the basement caves. I figured that he already got his key so I'll just trust him. I did tell him that the bomb type mobs and skellies dropped the keys but he just ignored me. Well.. we proceed to hunt these IT++ weapons and things got hairy after the first one. Just as we were going to go after a second.. Tilk says.. he needs to leave for class (which he all of a sudden remembers). I was like WTF? How can you only remember you have a class now? No response. He then says. "I'll find a replacement for me" I told him not to bother coz I enlisted my LS WHM to help out. After about 10 minutes, 2 whm show up.. my LS WHM and the replacement Tilk got after I told him not to bother. Once they showed up, Tilk warped his ass back to Jueno and disconnected. To make things worse, on top of Gilga being the worst RDM of all time (guy doesnt know how to refresh and whines so much) both my LS WHM and the other WHM get killed due to aggro from a Weapon. I apologize to both of them and the replacement WHM says to me..."are you saying that this is not an XP pt?" I said "No.. its a key hunting PT". She responds.. "Tilk told me to come down here for great XP Party"


Reason 2
I got an invite to the Boyahda Tree for XP party. Little did I know who the whm was. Low and behold.. Tilk was at the helm of curing. Granted, I would have disbanded but I was close to level so I figured might as well. I'll just ignore the guy. XP was good but as you know.. those Processionaires like shooting silk on tanks therefore putting the effect of slow on them. The Hume RDM was doing a great job Healing me and refreshing me but would forget to cast Haste in order to negate the Slow. I decided to push my contempt aside and ask Tilk to Haste me in order to lower the workload on the Hume RDM... Guess what he says, mind you he is a Taru WHM/BLM with over 700mp with constant refresh from the RDM. He says to me "I dont have any MP to spare, ask the RDM." I got so pissed.. I tanked it out for 2 chains, got my level, and said (See you again!)

Reason 3
Call me stupid.. but just last week, I get a tell from Tilk asking if we can form an XP PT. I know I should have just ignored him but I was in a forgiving mood and after days of LFG'n.. I figured XP is XP.. and we wont be leveling on crawlers so Slow wont be an issue. He was already in Z'itah (I was in Jueno) and so I took leadership. We started looking for members and sent him tells on who I got to kinda make it organized. We were able to score a Bard and a great RNG, so all that was needed were Damage dealers and BLM. I suddenly get a tell from Tilk that he might not be able to join coz he has to help an LS Member out. Oh well.. didn't matter to me coz my LS whm was available and to replace Tilk would be a great move. I then get a Mistell from Tilk.. that said "I found a 66PLD" (I was 68 and the rest of the pt was 66). I send him a tell saying.. "um.. I'm a PLD what are you talking about?". Just then it hit me... this ass is up to something. The Bard all of sudden disbanded. I asked the ranger.. "be honest, is Tilk sending you tells to join his "new" Pt?" She says yes.. but will stick with me coz I asked her first. I said.. go ahead and join his pt (her and I were already LFG'n for 3+ hours so i didnt want to keep her from xp'n). I ended up not XP'n that whole day.. but I did farm 2 stacks of Tree cuttings in Z'itah and got paid 30k to tank Darkspark so it wasn't a total loss. I have officially Blisted that asshole.

P.S. watch out for his LS buddy Decidense (Hume Ranger) Dude is a cocky ass ... Birds of a feather flock together.
 
Jazper... I know who this Tilk guy is. I met him way back in January when I was a little level 11 RDM, and got my first party invite ever from him. First thought was "Awwww, cute! A little taru warrior!" (which he was leveling at the time for whatever reason). Anyway, this being my first full 6 people party, I asked the group what would be required of me (I was backup healer, and thought it was cool all the sound effects and chaos and all the people doing their jobs in unison... the party play in this game still amazes me). Anyway, I'm getting off topic. He was incredibly rude to other players in the PT, eventually booting one for a reason I can't remember, although I don't remember being it warranted. I ended up gaining 2 levels and made a note that there are probably rude people all over like this.

A month later, as a RDM/THF (hehe, always just had to use THF... although looking back, don't know why I subbed it) in Qufim, I partied up with some mithra named Tsoni. I guess I impressed him with SOMETHING, because at that point I was offered my second linkpearl ever (first being ShadowHearts from Minas... she's a sweet gal). I equipped it, and lo and behold, there's Tilk running the damn thing. Not only would be pretty much ignore anyone below level 40 on the LS, but he was rather rude to the newbies such as myself, telling us to figure out quests on our own (isn't hard to figure out where to go to kill tier 3 beastmen for Kazham keys) and not offering any help except to a chosen few. The few times I'd see him running by in town, I'd /wave, and no /wave back, no response from tells, nothing. Pretty freakin' endearing personality for a LS leader, dontcha think? :P Anyway, the majority of the LS ended up being jerks, and I hardly remember anybody from it. I threw away the pearl a few weeks later...

Jaz, that's funny you mention Gilga; seems he's hated by many. From what others have told me about him (going on coffer key runs, getting his, disbanding and warping in the middle of fights, disbanding PTs without notice, etc), I already try to avoid him no matter what. I don't care what your job levels are or your playing experience... if you're a complete jerk, you will never have the pleasure of playing with me. :lol:
 
BTW, Tsoni is now in our LS :D . I have stories about Tilk as well.

I get a /tell from Tsoni asking me to help finish Rank 5 and get the magicite in Oz. I've know Tsoni since I was 48-50ish and know what kind of player Tsoni is. So I agreed to help. I was 61~2 at the time.

I come all the way from Crawlers nest to Oz in Meriphaud mountains and get invited into the PT to help. I get the usual hello's and all of a sudden I get Tilk yelling at me "who the hell are you!" "Get the hell out, we have too many people already" My first reaction is WTF? I get sent a tell asking for help come all the way here to get yelled at and told to leave? so I say "Fine what ever, I was asked to come help" I disband and head back toward Jeuno.

5 min later I guess he realized what level I was and that I was already rank 6. He starts sending me tells, asking me to come back and help and so on. I was ready to go tell him where he can stick it, but Tsoni is a freind of mine and so I agreed to go back.

I get there, he sticks me in a alliance with a bunch of lvl 30's, who get aggroed by every little thing. We get lost cause know one knows who is doing what. Some HL bard trains Yags from the top of floor I get aggro and die. I get yelled at by Tilk asking how the hell I got killed on the lower floors.

After enduring an hour or so of this and the rest of my LS telling me to leave we finish the mission we escape out. Tilk gives me a pearl I take and then I throw it out lol :roll:

FYI: Tilk's original LS is no more. It broke apart do to conflicts with in the shell. Surprise, surprise...
 
Well Tenkax, that's certainly a relief and I can rest easy knowing ChaoticDarkness is no more... /cheer /joy!

Haha I can't believe all of you people have had misfortunes with Tilk as well :/ How you act in the game says a lot about how you act in real life... and from the way Tilk acts, he sounds fit to employ at the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles).
 
1 and only pt i had with tilk:
Were xping on crabs at the capeterrigan zoneline inside Kuftal. Pt was doing ok, but tilk had just gotten his new "latent effect" whm ring that does cure potency +5 or some such. He intentionally spammed cures to get aggroso his hp would drop and the ring would activate, then Scream at the rdm if he healed tilk to full.
Well, after a full rest after one of the chains, Tilk decides to get aggro again by divine-sealing curaga 2.
yep, that got the mobs attention alright. nothing the war did, or I did (and at the time a full unload usually pulled off anything) got it off him, and of course he had gotten too much love, so was spam-curing himself to stay alive, which got more hate, and i just watched him dig his own grave.
after we raised him, he had nothing but mean angry words for the war tank for not doing his job.
the rest of us told him what he did, and how his death was no ones fault but his own.
while we were resting back up and waiting for weak to wear off of him, he logs out.
no word, no good-bye, just ditched.
due to aggro on the way out only 3 of the 5 made the walk back out ok.
i never pt with tilk again.

someone said decidense earlier? do you mean decidence? becuase i hate his fricking guts.

i get invited to my friends LS "Cajun" and he was cool. but damn decidence was on his big damn ranger high-horse. i say hi and i get the usual "Welcoming comittee" "hi hi welcome to the shell.. yadda yadda yadda"

can you guess who dosn't say hi?
i figure.. ok hes busy not focusing maybe he missed it in battle spam. but no, hes sitting in jeuno spamming shouts in jeuno and in LS for help with AF or something. I go
me: i would help you, but i don't think a level 22(ish i forget what exact level i was) RDM would be a big help.

WTHF (what the holy fuck) so, the kinda ended my friendship with cajun because of that fucking decidence. all though... there is the occasion /wave in jeuno.
 
umm.....wow....loss for words.....well...maybe one......COCKBITE! decidence will be avoided by me 24/7.

It figures cause you are all a bunch off asses that have ruined the game for the rest of us NA players. Thanks to the infantile morality of the likes of you, it is hard for the rest of us decent NA lpayers to interact with most JP players. I hope you get busted for doing something wrong by a GM and get your account nixed you dumb as.

It is alovely people such as yourselves that have ruined the game for the rest of us NA players. Thanks to your infantile minds, it is hard for the rest of us decent NA players to interact with most JP players. I hope you get busted for doing something wrong by a GM and get your account nixed you dumb ass.
 
Tilk and Gilga have always been ok to me so ill stick up for them till they give me a genuine reason not to and i dont really see that happening so i think i will brag about it
 
I have never seen them in the LS ... hmmm ...
