Way to siphon those wallets, Valve!

Oh that's gay. Portal has so much potential... then again it might just be a ripoff of Prey's portal generator which totally owned. That game needs a sequel.
Prey 2 is in the works, but there's not much solid information about it right now. Supposedly they're going to release more about it at the end of this year.

Either way, I'd purchased Orange Box just before this post was made, I've been playing TF2 quite a bit. They've got most of the major bugs under control, thankfully, I've been enjoying it greatly.

Thought it wasn't releasing until October 9th O.o?? Beta?

TF2 beta is available for anyone who's preordered Orange Box, yes.

omg I actually pre-ordered Orange Box too O_O

Anyway, I'm getting the Orange box for uni (Yeah! =D) for my Games Engines and Physics lectures.

Uni is gonna be so much fun =D

You can preorder the Orange Box for $44.95 on Steam, or you can buy it from Circuit City on the 10th for $38 and get the box and discs. :o

Shit, I might just have to go to Circuit City tomorrow then. Since that would've been about the same price as the Black Box.

PS3 version delayed till November >_<

With a capable PC, I can't imagine buying a FPS for a console...

I'm a dual analog kind of guy

Also, its Keyboard/Mouse enabled, and my TV is better than my monitor.

I blow ass with keys and mouse on a PC. Give me a controller though and I'll tear it up. I'm sure I'm far from alone. Another factor is being able to kick back and relax on the couch while fraggin'.

Fair points I suppose, but you lose so much, mods and everything else... I'd personally do it the other way around, buy a controller for my PC and hook that up to my TV. Ah well, UNLOCKING FILES NOW GOGOGOGOGO

Well, Portals story mode is fairly short. 2 hours, tops. I did it in 1:50ish, with a few deaths from some hazards. Maybe 5 or 6. I was pretty quick to solve the puzzles though, getting stumped about three times. None of the "boss" puzzles are difficult though. The "bonus" advanced levels are pretty complicated though. The credits are a good treat, though. I liked them.

Thanks for the tip about Circuit City, Euph. Was actually a justifyable price after they canned Black Box.

I loved portals, to be honest I'd have said it was pretty easy up untill the final level, which is ups the pace and problem solving ten-fold.

Story was fun, and the robots were awesome (the turret bots were so cute!) I just hope they expand on it, the credits seemed to subtly hint at a sequel... Lol

I definitely want a Portal sequel.

I'm working my way through Half-Life 2 again before I start on Episode One and Two. I haven't played Team Fortress 2 yet, but I watched Neyla play it awhile and it looks great.

Dunno about a sequel to Portal, but it's definitely not the end of Aperture Science.

Just got the Orange box now =D I'm having sooo much fun with HL2 =DDDDDD

Edit: DAAAAAMN! I cannot play portal because my Video card is out of date! Stupid 7 year old PC. My new PC will be a godsend!
