Weird experiance points question.....

I have been lvling the past couple days (53-55) and have noticed strangely low exp points. Like 130-160 with and without Exp. chains. These mobs have all been IT++ :? . Robber Crabs in Kuftal Tunnel, and Bark Spiders and Crabs in Boyahda Tree. Parties were 52-54 and 54-56 on the same mobs. All mobs were IT++ to the highs. Party set-ups have been very differant. Exp was the same no matter how fast or slow we fought.

Anyone know why exp would be lower than usual?

Is this the norm on these mobs in these areas?

just like anywhere else there's break off levels for certain things... for example torama still give good XP a 63 but it sucks something aweful at 64. just watch what lvl people you're taking where i guess....lol

Probably had to do with the higher levels in your PT. They may have been IT++ to you, but not to the highest level person in your PT. :?

I dun get it, why do people obsess over big shiney numbers? I would much rather get chain #5 and consistantly get 160 xp than get 200 xp every kill and no chains.

I am total fine with chaining for under 200, rather than not chaining and getting over 200. Would rather do that. BUT these were IT++ mobs (we were still chaining), not easy quick to kill VT mobs . We were doing IT++ work for VT exp.

Exp would have to cap out at atleast 54 for this to be the case, so where else is there to lvl?

You'll notice this trend throughout the coming lvls. You've actually hit the first very noticable xp penalty as these confusing tables clearly demonstrate.

So...tougher mobs? Less xp? Sound good?

Looks like I have to tough through it.

Kinda explains why a lot of ppl seem to be stuck between 55 and 60 for longer than other lvls.

But even better is 200+ every time and 280 on chains^^ (not counting manaburn parties that take stuff that's WAY too hard (Catoblepas at 66 >< Earth Staff baby!:lol: ) for like 250 no chain and 330 chain 5, hehe^^).

at Lv55 Robber Crabs take a dive in XP. It was your Lv55's that were bringing down the base Experience.
