Weird FFXI Problem (Help Please)

Okay... Last night I was in a party and for some reason I was R0ing every 4-5 seconds... then I'd snap out of it. After the party, I went to meet a friend in Sandy, and the NPC to let me in the city from the airship docks wasn't there... and I kept R0ing. I re-logged, and it was okay (even though it took double the time to load the NPC as it would've before)

Today, Internet Explorer isn't working (for some reason I can get to QCDN right now, so I'm gonna try for help), and I have the same problem on FFXI. Since it was only R0ing every 4-5 seconds, I could still make it to different places... I headed up to sky for Kirin. When I zoned in to sky from the Hall of Gods, I R0'd and disconnected. I tried alot of shit... like switching the little box thing with another little box thing, lol... I reset the modem thing, rebooted numerous times. Even PS2 version was doing the same thing. So, I tried to log in to my other characters... Bastok mule = R0, Sylph character = fine, Jeuno mule = fine. Wtf... why does the Jeuno mule work? No clue.

Anyways, so I managed to get on Luffy in sky without DCing instantly, so I zoned in to Hall of the Gods again... it took maybe 2minutes of loading in the black zoning screen. But as soon as I got in, everything worked fine... So I tried going back in to sky, and I R0'd again. After that I warped back to Whitegate (which I thought would've DC'd me instantly) and everything was normal, no R0, no DC. So now Luffy works in Whitegate, Bastok mule still doesn't log in without R0ing... and Internet Explorer doesn't work... except for now, which is odd.

The message I get when I DC is "No response from FFXI server" which is odd because my Jeuno mule works fine and stuff...

If anyone knows about this type of problem, please let me know... I'm hoping this will post without problems. Thanks >_<

A little update... Internet explorer seems to be working now... I'm afraid to log in to FFXI, cuz it might fuck up IE -_-

It's your ISP. Call and give em an ear full. Make sure to refer to things that they won't understand like "Zoning to Sky" and "Jeuno Mule".

I would check your processes to be sure that there isn't a runaway program (SpyWarez.exe) or something. Also from a Dos Prompt do a ping. "Ping yahoo.com -t" and look for any timeouts.

If you use your computer for entertainment purposes (Downloading music, programs, movies, pr0n surfing), make sure that your virus definitions are updated to check for malware.

Yeah, definitely check with your Internet provider, Comcast has been causing alot of problems for myself and others I know in the past couple months.

I kept logging on and off of PS2 on all my characters... It seemed to R0 less every time I logged on and off my PS2, rather than PC. I kept doing that until there was no R0 anymore, then tried logging on my PC, no more problems.

Maybe my characters got fuckered up, and just needed to be logged out a bunch of times on PS2 or something? Who knows? lol
