Weird hang-ups....

Humm... this is kinda fun!

Here are a few of mine, some inspired by what others posted that I also have:

- I hate going to the restroom as well when there is someone else in the house I have not been involved with for some time (hence one restroom on the main floor and one bathroom on the second floor, all sound proof! And I kid you not!)

- In the same line of thinking, I never go the the middle stall in public restrooms. Oh and on a side note, I hate those curvy stall that makes you stand 2 feet from the wall!!!

- I have a tendancy of wanting to do everything myself, even if I have no idea what I am doing, I'll argue that it will be done properly. Then in the end I usually get mad, blow the whole thing up, call a professional and get scammed because I am too damn mad to look at the price.

- I'll kiss my girlfriend (when I have one..), have mad sex, share meals, drink from the same glass/bottle and all..... but don't even think about using my toothbrush!!!! That's where I draw the line.....

- I'm scared like a little girl about spiders.... damn those eight-legged freaks!

- I prefer to drive at night. Whenever I went to Toronto from Quebec (8 hour drive) I'd always leave at 10:00 PM to be there at 5-6 in the morning.

- You know when you were a kid and coming up from the basement, you would imagine some monster is after you just to see how fast you can climb the stairs? I still do that....

Well... can't think of anything else for now....

Oh yeah, I like pinning my partner down or pulling on the hair when... you know....

Now it grosses me out--but I could use your toothbrush.

Now I swear, I did not see that one before posting!!!

I sleep on my belly and I always have to lift my feet, so the sheets will come free from under the mattress and fall under my legs when putting my feet back down. I do that every night.

I also always use the "jump" move when turning at night.... it means if I am sleeping on my right side, I'll jump a bit, like an inch and try and do a swift motion so my body will turn and fall back on my left side.... never works, but I have been doing that forever.... the idea is to not have the sheets follow me when I turn... I am so sick..... lol

I hear ya on both of these Veresko.

I hate that tingle on the back of your neck when you coming up the stairs from the basement or something and you just get that urge to [Run Away!].

This thread roxors my boxors!

Hmmm lets see:

-I can't share a glass of milk with someone... you sip my milk its yours.
-I drive a 4 door sedan and actually love it :D
-In the sac... I love having control, you may get on top, but in the end its its all about what I do to you and how long you can handle it
-When in public washrooms I always wait for someone to open the door first and then follow them out.
-I can eat anything - not afraid to try anything once.. well except roaches (despise them)
-Like Jender... absolutely love Qtips after a shower or when I'm bored  .
-I keep a duster near my keyboard and find myself dusting it at least 5 times a sitting.
-I MUST use Tearless Shampoo when showering.. can't stand closing my eyes then opening them to a surprise staring at me through the privacy glass.

I know.. I'm boring

Thought of another one.

The toothbrush thing is very popular, I think.

I must brush my teeth at least 5 times a day, if not more. I cannot stand coffee breath (but love my coffee), smoker's breath (but I smoke about 3 cigarettes a day, sometimes a tad more), and I have to brush after I eat and before I go to bed.

Yah, I'm weird like that  .

And NOOOOO, I don't smoke in the house!!!!

Current events just made me think of one more! I HATE when people listen in on my conversations!!!! My annoying, good-for-nothing roomate does it constantly. He always listens to me and my girlfriend talk on the phone, which wouldn't be quite so bad... if he didn't comment on what we were saying!

I have come so close to screaming at him, or just walking over and punching him in the back of the head.(He's got probably 6 inches and 80 lbs on me... but honestly, he wouldn't be able to stop me  ) Argh... my girlfriend is having troubles, and being 2.5 hours away doesnt help... and him commenting... one of these days, I swear...

Oh.. and now that I think of my roomate.. I also hate people with no manners. Common courtesy, table manners, even a bit of cleanliness... is that too much to ask for!!!

Alright... that's it for now...

I HAVE to always be doing 3+ things at once. Ex. if I am watching tv or a movie (even one that I am really interested in) I have to also be reading a magazine, drinking water, doing my bills, making a grocery list, etc. I get bored otherwise. :? A.D.D rears it's ugly head....

I enjoy hanging out with Mexican friends than white friends

um...what is the difference?

Well, for ME personally, I enjoy the company of Mexicans more. THats just my opinion. I dont know why, but I relate more. All my Best friends are mexican and we share most similarities. OIF course, I do have american friends but we rarely, if ever hang out after school. I have more fun with my mexican friends. Again, thats just from MY personal experience.

Ok - that just sounds odd. I mean I have all kinds of Mexican, White, Black, Asian, Indian, gay, straight, male, female, etc. friends. I can't imagine favoring any of them based on thier race. THat just sounds really closed minded.

To each his own, I guess.

I understand what you are saying. Im not biased against anyone. I love all races^^ butttt, wheter or not people accept it, there ARE differences between races at early ages (10-20ish years old) I gurantee a 17 yrd old mexican and a 17 year old white guy are VERY different in my school. They both like very different things. Which is why I prefer going to the movies with my closests friends (mexican) than my "casual" friends (white friends). Its not racism when its in school. During the early and late school years you hang out with who you have near you. Yes, after college, in the real world if you dont want to hang out with some mexicans or americans than that is biased. But in high school people are just different.

Sorry to jump in on an otherwise amusing thread, but I gotta call bullshit on this. Specially the "it's not racism when it's in school." I don't care if you're in fifth grade or in in a retirement home, if you're choosing your friends just based on their race, it is racism. It's not as if you get out of high school and some magic switch gets flipped, and people stop being different and all prejudices melt away. You're assuming that because someone isn't Mexican they can't have the same interests or similar experiences as you, which is sad.

For that matter, what makes somone "Mexican" enough to qualify for top-tier friendship? Do you have to have lived in Mexico for a certain number of years? Do you need to be raised in the US, or in Mexico? And in a rural or urban area? Do US-born people of Mexican descent count? What about someone "white" who's lived most of his/her life in Mexico? Etc, etc. My point with all these question is simple--there's too many things that factor into what makes someone who they are. Of course the people you're going to get along with are going to be the ones you have more things in common with; but assuming that people who fit your definition of "Mexican" automatically share your experiences and tastes is boneheaded.

; ;
yup I knew it. I knew people would take my posts wrong ; ;
/sigh

I KNOW Anesly, trust me, I know everything you said is true. Buttt PERSONALLY****** for ME my best friends are Mexican. Thats just ME. Im not a racist, what im saying is that the mexicans in MY school (no where else im talking about) share the same interests as me. Why? Becuse I grew up with them. Where I live there is a distiction between the immigrants (latins, europeans, asians, w.e) and the Americans. I grew up virtually with 90% mexican friends. Is that wrong? No. Did I EVER say I dont like my American friends?? NOO. Did I say we dont share any similarities? NOO. What I am saying, and again ill say it, Im saying all this based on MY School Where I live with the People I KNOW. I have all kinds of friends, asians, ameicans, blacks, indians etc etc, butttt I enjoy the company of my best friends more. EVEN if they were a different race. BUT they are Mexican. Nothing I can do about that.
Im sorry if I came off as offensive to anyone, expecially you anesly ; ; Im sorry ; ;

From what Ive seen in my school, I believe there is a slight difference in the way Americans and Immigrants view racism. PERSONALLY** I feel more confertable in a room full of Mexicans than a room full of any other race. Am I a racist? In Americans eyes, yes I am. But im not. I grew up with Mexicans all around me all the time. Im more confertable with them. Im sorry if you find that offensive, but its true. ; ; And I know for a fact too that some Indians and African-Amercian the other races in MY school feel more confertable with themselves than the other races. Why do "nerds" only like to sit with other "nerds in the lunchrooms? Why do jocks and skaters and cheerleaders prefer the company of other jocks and skaters and cheerleaders? in MY school, its the same way, but with the races. Mexicans this table, indians that table, asians here, white all over the place lol.

and Anesly, what I personally see as a Mexican is a guy/girl who is form Mexican decenst. Doesnt matter where they are born.

Please forgive me again if I offended anyone. It was not my intetion

I too can't use public bathrooms. Hell, the only one I really feel comfortable with is the one at my house. When I went to college, it nearly killed me. Hell, I can't even go in my grandparent's house.

I also have a nail biting fixation. My mom told me she took my bottle away too early. Now I always have to be biting my nails or chewing gum or my lip or something.

I don't like the sun, I hate writing in black ink, and I can't stand it when the bottom of my pants get stuck in my shoe lol I can't fall asleep with socks on, and the air conditioner must always be on, whether it is summer, winter, fall or spring. I can't wake up in the morning unless I hit the snooze button 3 times, and I can't drink cold water in the middle of the night if I wake up because it will keep me from going back to sleep. I hate terrible drivers, I hate really good drivers, and I hate the drivers in the middle. Pretty much, I don't like when there are other people on the road except me. I hate old people that drive in front of me. I hate teenagers that drive behind me. I hate when people interupt my quiet time. Every day I need like an hour just to me with no interuptions so I can just think about my daily processes and stuff. I hate when my girlfriend is overly sweet, because it usually means she broke something of mine, or she wants something. She knows I know but she still does it anyways because she think's it is cute.

I could go on forever, but I'll stop here.

And as long as we're informing of our sexual hang-ups, I like being in control, and very rarely do otherwise. However, the occasional time where she's in complete control can be a turn on, but only when the mood is right lol

Just one more for my list, I don’t like going to the bathroom unless I am doing something else, because if I don’t it just seems like such a waste of time.

That's where the comics come in handy...

Oh wow, personality quirks.

1. I’m submissive. I come of as pretty dominating and strong, but I’m incredibly submissive.
2. Biting. Very good yes.
3. I’m extremely possessive of my things. Nobody gets to borrow anything.
4. When I like something, I want everything to do with it. To extreme. I want all the anime, all the j-rock, all the cds, everything in the world to do with mandragora.
5. I’m incredibly shy. I tend to shrink into the corner in any sort of crowd and just hope they don’t notice me. In fact, my biggest worry about losing weight is that more people might find me attractive, and they’ll look at me.
6. I hate having my neck and arms covered. I just hate long sleeve shirts and turtlenecks.
7. I hate regular pop; it’s all too sweet.
8. I hate spicy food, but love Wasabi.
9. I have no irrational fears.
10. I can’t use a public bathroom if someone else is in there.
11. My ears are so amazingly sensitive that no matter who touches them it makes my knees go weak…
12. Sometimes I like a certain amount of food so much that I could eat it every day for weeks, then, inevitably I’ll stop liking it and probably never eat it again for years.
13. I absolutely positively hate orange juice and whole milk.
