And that's nothing really. The record for this area is -64 set back 30 years ago or so, and -40 or colder isn't uncommon. It's supoosed to warm back up to 0 by Tuesday thankfully.

Hahahahhaahha, come to Illinois Shak. It's just about as "nice" here with windchills. Actually though we've been lucky so far this year. Here's our 10 day. I hate winter.

There are thousands of free skins on the net, so you really don't need to buy it. I found desktopX to work better than windows blinds for myself. However, those types of programs are notorious for bugs and being resource hogs. Some of them look very neat, but after a few days the thrill fades away. Then they just become annoying (some require lots of extra clicks) and I find myself reverting back to the windows default. So give it a couple weeks before you buy it. You can find lots of skins here.

Your weather looks pretty nice Kat compared to that -31 in Alasaka.

Holy Christ. Note to self- stay the hell away from Alaska in the wintertime.

This is my first year in Virginia (born and raised in Chicago) so I can tell you that I'm not missing the cold. Today's high was 71. It's supposed to drop as low as the 50's this coming weekend. It's gonna be a weird Christmas, haha.

I remember last year up at college(VT) I would wake up and check the weather before going outside. Having lived in CT all my life cold wasnt too bad... but since I live relatviely close to the shore it never got horrible. One morning I remember I woke up and checked... it was like -20. I just kinda stared at the screen for a few minutes. -_-

Only someone who hasn't experienced the other extreme will say that. Try living in San Antonio, Texas during the summer. You will never dislike cold weather ever again. I don't care how cold it is, I would prefer it over Texas summer heat. It is easier to dress warmer than to try to cool off in 110 degree+ weather.

I've lived in Tyler, TX. The Midwest gets fairly hot in the summer to usually always 90's. They both suck....idk lol.

Its sad when someone says "warm up to 0 degrees" and means it. Seriously though, -31 degrees is "watch your breath turn to ice" weather and thats some pretty freaky stuff. It reminds me of those "it was so cold" jokes i heard as a kid from my grandma.

hey fellina i know how u feel i m from toledo oh and i live in virgina now i haven t seen snow in 10 months ive been here some of the guys at my work tell me how hard it is to get around with an inch of snow. i say please if that snow drift isn t 4ft plus i going through it.
