See whether you can start into Safe Mode, then under Start -> Settings - Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Startup & Recovery -> Settings -> System Failure -> Uncheck Automatically restart

Then start normally again and you will be able to write the exact error message down and go from there.

Thats the thing tho, everytime i turn the computer on all i get is the blue screen with the infinite loop message. Nothing else happends, no windows start up, nothing. -.-

isn't there a button you can press to bypass it starting up normally?

Depends which blue screen. If it's this one:
blue-screen-of-death.gif

Then normally the answer is yes. However, if it's this one:

bsod.gif

Then the answer is probably no. It sounds like it may be the first one. Hopefully that's the case because if you get the second one your computer is pretty messed up.

Its neither of those. >.< And I did get the first picture before.

Edit: My blue screen is saying that it is stuck in an infinite loop with one program. Then I kick it a few times and swear then get a slurpee and try again lol

Hmm...Never seen this third kind that you're getting >.>;

Heres what i call it "The Myrrh Virus" I break computers i don't know how but i do. >.> I've broke over 6 computers just by using internet, FFXI, Paint, Mineswepers, and i forget what i was doing when i almost blew up a computer a school -.-

One of my ex-co-workers messes up his computers with the net. I ran ad-aware on it and it was stuffed to the brim with spyware and the such. I can't say that gives the blue screen, but I don't know what you do on the net >.>;

One time I blew up a monitor at school. I was disappointed because I thought it was really going to explode, not flash for an instant and make small amounts of smoke. Oh well.

I Made the whole harddrive start smoking and i wasn't aloud back in the computer lab for the rest of the year -.-

lol that's awesome :biggrin:

OMG this sucks. All and I mean ALL I can think about is playing >.< I went Christmas shoping but I kept thinking things like "I wonder how much gil i can get this for"(no lie i did say to my brother). We ended up looking at swords and I starting Talking about how i need to unlock NIN. And it just kept going on -.-.

Tho i did buy myself some nice Naruto gloves and a necklace(yes i'm a Fun Boy wanna fight about it) And picked up a FFVIII necklace for lenneth. And now i'm back home with nothing to do.

I tried reading but i thought of FFXI, I tried Homework(and i NEVER do homework) and again nothing but FFXI. God i need a life XD

Umm......You could buy yourself a Ps2, and if you are immensly lucky you can also find (and buy) yourself a copy of the game for Ps2. I got mine off of amazon though ><;

This might be possible to fix:

What version of Windows and which SP?

What is the number/letters after the STOP: on the bsod?

What video card?

Can you get into Safe Mode at all? Hold down or tap F8 after the BIOS screen.

he has zero idea on how stuff works, he just uses it. I'll have to go there and fix it i'm sure.

STFU marajade lol jk yeah i am retarded when it comed to computers. And i can't get to any type of safe mode i've tried. I turn the computer on and its just the same blue screen.
The Myrrh Virus strickes again.
This is where i am glad i have a 3 year warrenty on it lol.I've had to get a new part for the computer every few months. Why? Because the Myrrh virus lol
I can just order a new harddrive(which is the best move cause even if i get this one working again there are still many things wrong with it), the only thing that pisses me off is i'll lose 400 songs, 10 movies, and my hellsing anime. /cry

OK WTF NOW I BROKE MY LAPTOP. i turned it off and go to turn it back on and it tells me that a <windows root> file has been deleted adn won't start up unless i reinstall the file. THE MYRRH VIRUS STRIKES AGAIN. -.-

Dude...I'd try to help you but:

1. Seems ya already got a bunch helping you and I have no idea what this problem might be.

2. I don't know what you have, but I'm afraid just posting in this thread will cause my computer to explode in Myrrh virus apocolyptic system destroying fury. No offense.

;)

none taken lol. my computer is messed and i don't know whats wrong with it.
Now my laptop is messed and i think i know what wrong with it. See i downloaded FFXI to my laptop and one of the files didn't get loaded with it so i couldn't send messages, so i uninstall and after a few hours of that i restart my laptop and now i get a message that "<windows root> was deleted and i need to reinstall it.

But i can't reinstall anything on the laptop cause my mom got it from her boss and i think he threw out the windows disks -.-
