Well guys, it's been fun, but I've gotton as much out of ffxi as I want to get out of it. I've had a lot of fun over the past few years getting to know all the people I met and taking part in all of the events I've been a part of. It's now time for me to make my final /bow.
TheFlock - You guys are great. I really wish I could have done more with you guys, but alas, my timezone didn't quite work too well with that. Dejan, Manasha, Weaponslayer, and everyone else. You guys are great people. Genbu might not be the hardest mob in the game. Heck, he might even be a total pushover. But taking part in an alliance of bsts and pwning the shit out of him with a bunch of flamingos this summer was positively one of the highlights of my ffxi career. Beastmaster was the best thing that ever happened to me in ffxi and I highly doubt any other game will ever be able to replicate the achievement felt after someone solo/duo/trio's a job such as bst to 75. It's incredible. And I've met so many great people along the way.
NobleKnights (My JP social shell) & SeasAllThat (Limbus) - I'm sure none of you read this messageboard, but for being a Japanese LS, you sure made a foreigner feel at home. We never did a lot of huge events aside from a few fafnirs and a couple gods, but shit, we're a social LS. You guys helped me tremendously when I was getting started. I really appreciate it. Nina, Takatin, Agezou, Elrond, you guys are about the nicest Japanese players I have ever met.
Moonhill (My JP event shell) - I have no idea what anyone was ever talking about in LS chat. But we had a great time doing KS99's and BC40's together. I had a blast getting through CoP with you all as well. For having a bigass language barrier, we did pretty well.
Invictus - I had so much fun doing dynamis with you guys. I don't care about what anyone else might ever say, Invictus is a great LS. Great people. Great times. I didn't quite finish 5/5 AF2 on either bst or blm, but I came close enough.
Hiira & Naryu - I don't know any other nicer Japanese players than you two. I just wish I could have been fluent in Japanese so we could have talked more than on a basic level. Naryu, thanks so much for getting me into Moonhill and Laputainthesky (Sky LS). You're a great blm.
Talindra - You've been my longest friend on FFXI. I've had a lot of fun talks with you and done a lot of fun random shit with you
Dejan - You're the man. Period.
I've had a lot of fun over the past few years. I've met a lot of great people, and I've met a lot of incredible douchebags. You take the good with the bad. I'm leaving ffxi simply because I don't have time for the group aspect of it anymore. I've tried to make it work, but it just doesn't work for me anymore. There's nothing bitter about it. It's just time to move on.
Anyway, it was great knowing a lot of you. I had a blast. Thank you.
