So Tuesday, xbox working perfectly fine and dandy, had a fan going keeping the thing cool which I always do, have only ever seen 1 red light when I had a power surge about 6 months ago not seen one since. Yesterday, dont even touch the thing as Im so horribly ill I spent 14 hours in bed sleeping and then today turn it on, notice some weird black lines all the over the place which seem to be getting worse and worse, turn the xbox off and back on to see if that helps, "System error, contact Xbox support" WTF? How the hell has a system error happened when I didnt even touch the thing yesterday and it worked perfect on Tuesday. I could understand if I kicked it or pissed on it or something but I take good care of the thing and have never had any trouble with it.

So now im going to take it to the shop I got it from tomorrow and see if theyll let me exchange it for another one, if not, then its off to good old Microsoft repair. Fucking thing.

As an Xbox 360 owner I'm entitled to tell you that the 'Red Ring of Death' rumor is entirely groundless, and like the other godless swine, you probably had your Xbox 360 operating on top of a large, electromagnet, both of which were inside a large, metallic, unventilated box over a subwoofer. There is no design flaw in the 360 and if you broke it on your own, the most logical thing to do is go out and buy another one quickly so you won't go without it for a few weeks.

I concur.
