I haven't seen you people in ages! I miss you guys sometimes, especially when I look through my old screen captures *sniffles* I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right forum, but since I'm not playing anymore, I figured a hello thread would be appropriate.

So how's everyone doing?! I've been engaged for a year now, and I am getting married soon! Things are going relatively well for me, but life has its ups and downs as usual. Life sure can suck sometimes can't it?

As far as my gaming life goes, its pretty much non-existent. I have Guild Wars, but rarely play it. Most of my time is spent working, playing with my animals, watching movies, and going out hiking in nature taking photos!

Anyway, reply! I want to hear how all my old buddies are doin!!!!

just saying hi :) I have no intentions to return to FFXI, even though I do miss it a lot sometimes.

Tucker is good! He's my brother's dog now, but I still miss him and wish I could have him. I have a cat and two ferrets now, in addition to my snake, I have added a baby painted turtle! :p
 
well, I guess I'm coming back after all! 5 hrs left of downloads... and I don't have the Treasures expansion yet either

You know besides the EXP bonus refresh bonus from sanction. The fact that it nets the best exp/hour over any zones in game. The walahara turban salvage and einherjar; yeah you're right ToAU blows.

The content was boring, I didn't say it didn't enhance gameplay. If it fails to entertain it sucks imo since the general goal of MMO is entertainment. That's my opinion though, hence why I'm no longer playing and you (I'd assume when you're not posting your retarded shit here) are.

GG once again trying to start shit over the smallest of comments though. Isn't there a thread somewhere around here calling you out on that? I'd say OP is dead on.

No I was actually agreeing. I liked exping in the old zones, but there's just so much more to benefit from ToAU. Those benefits out weigh what the Conquest zones offer, and now there's no point in going over to conquest side for experience unless it's a desperation move because there aren't enough camps in ToAU open.

so speaking from an xp party standpoint, should I buy treasures? are a lot of people xping in their zones?
 
Bah! you make me a sad panda Ana. ; ; But I like ToAU. The storyline is ok, missions are easier compared to other expansions, and more gameplay was added compared to other expansions. But I'm easily amused so my opinion doesn't count much, I mean really easily amused. o.o

Get ToAU if you can, easy way to make money if anything by selling their coins. If you are interested in fast leveling and more stuff to do then yeah get it too.

edit: And you can be a pirate! sail the sea.... become a pirate! O.O

No doubt she'll want to get ToAU for character development purposes. I just found the content dull and repetitive. So far even the lack of content in VG has been more entertaining /shrug

Sounds like that new expansion will be pretty fun for you all though. I'll be interested in hearing how it plays, though I won't be coming back to FFXI :P
