Well this is a new wrinkle in FFXI's glitches.
I just attempted to log into ffxi. Right off i notice the "warning reminder" you have to click "accept" for every login is totally Garbled font garbage.
and some other stuff in login as well. This in no way prepared me for what i saw on login.
Linkshell, inv item names, any typed text, emotes, translator text everything GARBAGE FONT. Impossible to ascertain if this is a local problem or serverwide ingame.
Anyone else getting this?

WELL. once again, SE customer support came through.......NOT. useless bunch of desk-jocky ape munkys. I want that job. answer the phone, tell the caller to try everything they already tried themselves before calling if they have a shred of intelligence, then blame it on Windows when none of that worked. pat the caller on the back, and say "keep your chin up, im sure youll figure it out".

please, if anyone has logged in in the last 60 min, just post here and let me know. All i need ot know is if this problem is localized to MY system. I'll have a better idea of what to look for if i can just answer that one simple thing.

eh, i dunno what the hell. problem was there earlier. i get home from work, try loggin in, and its gone. kinda wish i ran fraps, i would have posted a screen. it was wonky as hell.
gone now though.
