I'm having a blast with this game. Just straight combat almost, but damn do I love the animations and characters.

The game's fun at first but over time it just doesn't really seem to have much after awhile. It's kinda mediocre overall I'd say :P not bad, not great, mediocre.

I personally love this game, i love the feel, i love the game play, i love...RUBI, i want a cardboard rubi stand up bad, and some cool posters.

It's pretty shallow, but I love Rubi. One of my room mates tells me to wait when I play it so he can see what Rubi will do next. The street chase was awesome.

i dont see that, i had fun and excitement from beginning to end, It didnt get boring one bit. Tho there were frustrating parts, once i got all the smooth fluid combos down it was cake. Sucks they kind left a loophole in the story, sequel maybe?!

A lot of the "power up buys" feel like things you shoulda had from the start though :\ which kinda sucks.

And I think this is clearly a game to appeal to guys :P cause the game itself is mediocre. Story's eh, Rubi's badass but whatever XD

Game demo was pretty average. I wouldn't pay more than $20 or $30 for this game.

I wasn't very impressed with the demo either. Maybe will rent or wait long time for a price drop.

this is the third case where the demo does not do the game justice for me, This is why i dont base my purchases on demos, i would have passed on this because of the demo. The demo does it no justice.

It's a solid rent, but rent only for me.
It's kinda sad that these days people look for replay value as a means of warranting a purchase, but thems the breaks. I enjoyed the game for what it's worth, but I can't see myself putting down full price for it.

That's a really weird practice, given how rarely the demo is unrepresentative of the real game; based on your experiences. I know it happens, but it's so rare that it seems bad to make purchasing decisions based on long shots.

That being said, I played the demo and it was fun for a bit; but not enough for me to buy immediately.

I didnt say i do that for every game, but when i play a demo i dont fully take it in as "the solid example of the full experience", I would have passed on WET and Project Sylpheed if i did that. If im unsure i rent first and buy later, though with WET i felt it warranted enough for me since it kind of gave me that bullet witch feeling, and i liked bullet witch. Most people hate it.
Its a love it or hate it game i guess.

It did feel like bulletwitch, which was a pretty big part of the reason i passed on it. I did love Project Sylpheed though. I really only bought it because i loved the PS2 Sylpheed and no demo was going to sway me otherwise, even though Project Sylpheed very little to do with its predecessor.

Considering it's a single-player shooter, it'll be $20-30 in a few months. Better to wait it out in my book. It's not like it's going anywhere since there is no multiplayer to get behind on.
