This had to be the best weekend I have had in game for a while. I had a ZM group set and ready to go for Friday this week. I put in an ass load of over time at work to get off early enough to do it. I get home log in, already 15 min late because I didnt get off as early as I was suposed to, and guess what. Not doing it.
Now me being me I just went to Jueno and threw out a shout for ZM5-12. Instantly got response on it. Sweet. Tormknight and Aither helped us do all the tombstones then one of the members had to go for a while and asked us to wait the 4 hours he would be gone for. We all agreed. Othello comes back at a little after 11 and we head out again. Tormknight and Iggman helped us knock out the fights for ZM6 and 8 (which we broke the record for) then Torm went to bed. Since 9-11 are just cutscenes we all seperated and knocked them out.
We ran into each other again on our last trip to Norg and decided to finish this thing as a group. Iggman offered to tank 12 for us and off we went. NM never even touched him. Afterwards he went to the gate with us. I entered Sky for my first time at 5 am with Iggers as my own personal guide.
Went to bed and slept for a few hours and then woke up and got back on. I got a party that stopped after we had gotten 1k xp. No big deal because I had Dynamis anyway. Normal Dynamis run nothing major. We didnt get the win but oh well, had a hell of a good time trying. So after Dynamis we get Aither his THF AF and dick around for a while.
Then Iggs jokingly suggests going and fighting Garuda. At some point it stopped being a joke and we hauled ass out there. Our set up was MNK/NIN DRK/NIN DRK/THF and PLD/WHM. I will be damned if we didnt win. Epic fight number 2 that went great this weekend. Ill get Igg to give the link for the vid after while so you can see for yourself. Went to bed with another big thing knocked out.
Got on again today and had my O. hat run. After what seemed like forever we get going and I eat 2 deaths on the way to camp because my Sneak oils hate me. Get to camp and we /random for who goes first. Guess what. My random hates me also and I have to go first. We actually won. Granted it was a bit shaky and I had my doubts at one point but in the end it all came together. I now have my very own hat.
After the run the LS decided they wanted to do Bastok Escort. We all haul ass to Bastok activate it and truck it to CN. My NPC managed to level in the middle of it and we made it there very smoothly. After it was all over Iggman Aither and myself went to Bastok to get our pages. Iggman beat us there and got a 1300ish page. Aither made it next and got a page for aroun 1450. I figured that meant my page was gonna suck horribly but I went on and got it anyway. I was so wrong. 1490 for mine. On that note I logged off before the SE god had a chance to have me killed by a Young Quadav or something equally stupid.
So over all accomplishments, got Sky, Garudas Dagger, Optical Hat, some free XP, and had alot of fun. Very very good weekend.
