Didn't see a thread like this so thought i'd start one. To start it off i just finished watching school days. Jesus christ....

That was some fucked up shit! Its pretty boring for the first 10ish episodes. I didn't like Itou and felt bad for katsura until she went bat shit crazy. And then the last two episodes, well not even some much episode 11 but 12... holy fuck. Like i said i didn't like itou so for the last episode i was like "STAB THAT MOTHER FUCKER!" and when sekai did i was like Fucking Right! But when katsura cut off his head, that was fucked up and although i figured she was gonna kill sekai when she did and how she did i was just like wtf... Sweet ending. I saw it coming, yet at the same time it was still WTF.


Overall boring i'd say and i didnt really get into it until like episode 6ish but the ending was so worth it. If you got the time and like school type animes i'd say its worth checking out, especially the ending... so win.

I think next i'm gonna watch either RahXephon or Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou. I finished up eureka 7 the other day too and kind of feel like re-watching that (the op and eds in that show were fucking win) but I'll probably wait awhile on that. So what are you all watching?

Is Eureka 7 any good? I've seen a few episodes on Adult Swim occasionally, but all I can think of was "So a 14 year old boy is in love with a 12 year old alien, who's a mom....wait, what's going on??"
So I kinda didn't give it a chance...

OT: Been watching FLCL for my first time!

I'm rewatching Outlaw Star, since it's old school and I just downloaded it. After that I'm rewatching Cowboy Bebop, just for sheer awesomeness.
 
I've begun watching Gundam Seed since it started on AnimeCentral on the 5th. Its damn awesome, but I still would like to see Gundam Wing again.

Anyways, I've also been watching Elfen Lied, damn beautiful... I'm not talking about the pink haired horned girls either XD Its a damn good heartbreaking anime.

I figured it was about time I took notes on the differences between the anime and manga. I miss some of the subtle manga jokes though. Not bad, though much like the manga the anime has a pretty slow wind up before they get down to business but eh, I've seen others take alot longer.

Lol adult swim... and yeah i thought it was really good (hence my rewatch, i usually wont watch something twice). Its quite a bit more indepth then him being in love with her and you learn more later as to why shes there "mom", Spoilers: Shes not really their mom (they tell you in episode 3 i think) but yeah I liked it. 50 Episodes so a nice long one, but at the same time no fillers, and again like i said before the music is awesome.
 
I would recommend Saikano (She, the Ultimate Weapon) as well. I'm missing the 3rd DVD myself, got first two and OVA Another Love Song.

For like 1-2 episodes and thats not fucked up violent like School Days was. Here ill post the description of the end from wikipedia lol, if you're not gonna watch school days read it.

The situation worsens overnight when Makoto suggests to Sekai over text that she have an abortion. Overcome by emotion, Sekai stabs and kills Makoto the next day while at his apartment. Shocked by her actions she runs away in a panic. Shortly afterwards, Kotonoha arrives at Makoto's home to find him dead. Sekai, who was hiding in her room, receives a cryptic text from Makoto to meet "him" at the school's rooftop. She proceeds there cautiously, carrying the knife she killed Makoto with in her jacket. After arriving she is confronted by Kotonoha, in her mindless state once again, who tells her to look inside the gym bag lying on the bench, which contains Makoto's head. At that moment, Kotonoha unravels a bloody dozuki and kills Sekai. In a state of insanity she cuts open a small hole in Sekai’s lifeless body, and upon seeing nothing says that she lied about being pregnant. On her family’s boat drifting off in the distant ocean, Kotonoha is last seen holding Makoto’s head in her arms. Time passes by and life at the school returns to normal.


I cut the first half of the episode out because thats already long. But still so fucked up.
 
You just need more Elfen Lied in your life. Kinda mad I left my set at home myself.

Lol, thats a good series too. It still makes me sad when the chick in the beginning gets her head ripped off. Good series though and also a pretty good ending.

It's a great show. I didn't like it when I caught a few episodes here and there on Adult Swim but as I watched them in order the story grew on me.

Just finished up the short but ever so badass Afro Samurai. Samuel L. Jackson is so pro. Also been watching a lot of Shinchan lately. That kiddo is friggen win.
 
I'm watching GinTama episode 6 at this moment... anyone know where I can download this series?

I've found one site called anime.funsub. tv, but just in case, is there anywhere else?
