Alright, it has come to my attention that most human beings have an irrational fear of something. Ghosts, Mirrors, Dolls, Snakes, Spiders, etc. etc. etc.

Personally, I do not have any of these irrational fears. None of these things scare me, and to be perfectly honest, nothing really does. I feel a little inhuman not having a random fear actually, and I want to know if anyone else is like this?

If not, tell me what you're afraid of, and WHY!?

Jesus and Heights

No reason imparticular

I have a very low-grade doll phobia.

My theory about why: When I was a little kid, my grandmother owned a doll whose poofy-looking dress was actually a pin cushion. She told me to leave the doll alone or it would bite me. Being the idiot child I was, I went over and touched it when she wasn't looking and stuck my hand on the needle. I'm told I screamed for an hour.

I've never cringed away from dolls or anything like that, but they creep me out and I don't like their eyes. If I'm alone in a room at night with one, I'll catch myself looking at it every so often to make sure it's still in the same spot and hasn't moved. I'll curse myself for forty kinds of fool for letting it get to me, but I'll still keep checking its position.

If it gets really bad, I'll put the doll face-down on the floor. But it has to be a big doll, like Chucky-size or larger. Barbie is a skinny little bitch and I could take her in a fight, even if she went for my Achilles tendons.

Spiders for me, reason unknown. I can force my self around them if I have to, but given a chose I’d rather stand on a chair like a girl screaming for my wife to come kill it.

Both of my ex-roomies were like that. If I even mentioned spiders they'd flip out and demand I kill it. My mom did that when one of our cats brought a mouse inside, she screamed bloody murder, and I just picked up the cat (Who had a deathgrip on the half dead mouse) and tossed it outside.

Walking over bridges. Gives me anxiety and nightmares.

When i'm hungover I hate being in cars while other people drive. Not really a fear. More like hangover anxiety.

I aslo have a fear of seeing any of the Golden Girls naked. Except for Estelle Getty. She was a sex-kitten. Meow.

Hospitals and doctor's offices. Let's just say I've had traumatic experiences in both.

Spiders are one of them. I got bit by one when I was younger while I was sleeping. It was very freaky I could feel its fangs wiggle inside me, I freaked out and let my full bladder go. It left this wierd goo stuff where it bit me, real freaky.

I've always had a phobia of losing my teeth and or having dental work done on me, so I guess you can say i'm afraid of the dentist.

I suppose I have a fear of the dentist. I mean, I hate going because I'm always in pain when I go. I had braces for 3 years, and every single time I go to the dentist it reminds me of that pain. So, I suppose I'm afraid of the dentist...

I have a fear of heights and am somewhat closterphobic. Which is wierd because I LOVE to fly, and have bungie jumped a few times. I cant STAND rollercoasters though. Every time one of those new monstricities come out at cedar point, I ride it once just to say I did it, but I hate every minute of it.

eh, not much scares me at all. I mean, Spiders make me kinda nervous to be around, but they don't seriously creep me out or anything. I know most of the ones in my area aren't poisonous, and they aren't super visible or anything.

Oh, and here's a fun fact for ya'll. Statistics show humans can expect to swallow 8 spiders in their sleep throughout their lives. That's just the average, depending on where you live/sleep you may have swallowed more ^_^

I use to fear large bodies of water. Yeah wrap your brain around that one.

Not being able to see whats down there. Bothered me.

Now days the only thing that scares me is the stuff that goes on in my messed up head :|

Seriously, dreams can be messed up under the influence. Especially if you play FFXI >.>. Though even my nightmares tend to amuse me more than they do frighten me.

But it's true, a good dream you can never get back, but the bad ones ALWAYS start right where they left off when you get back to bed.

Dentists arent scary, just annoying. They have their friggin hands in your mouth and go "So how was your day today?" wtf? I GOT HANDS IN MY MOUTH! >.>

Spiders. *shudders* I was using the restroom or trying to, when a spider came outa the toilet seat and crawled back under it..I screamed and ran upstairs and used the other restroom. I couldn't use the toilet for a day or so XD

I had a dream about them too..I was in a forest and BOOM FRIGGN SPIDERS EVERYWHERE! I was trying to escape..I was scared and woke up sweating. ANd my dream of big red spiders crawling in my room...*hides*

Snakes ... ugh I hate em!!!
