the Michael Andrew's Mad World is indeed a cover of the Tears for Fears track, freshly re-done for the Donnie Darko soundtrack

That soundtrack rules over all that is awesome. Thank you, for now I am going to listen to Tears for Fears and Echo & the Bunnymen for the rest of the day.

"17" by Winger ATM ^^

LMAO, once me and my roomate got drunk and had a competition on who could download the cheesiest music. I won with Winger, Nelson and Richard Marx songs. The bad thing was, everytime we came home at 3am in the morning after that we would blast the same songs over and over until our 3rd roomate snapped. He yelled at us for like an hour over that one.

Listening to the Specials ATM.

Omigod..you did NOT just put Winger in the same category as Richard Marx. You did NOT. I'm gonna cry. Cheesy 80's hair metal rules my mood at times...

Not really gonna cray but - there aren't any other threads I feel like replying to at the moment and I'm a post whore so ya know...

/equip legs "Leather Pants"
/equip body "Rag Doll t-shirt"
/equip head "Freeze It hairpray"
/equip back "Leather Jacket with cheesy ass fringe"
/equip main "Cigarette"
/equip sub "Lighter for slow songs"

ROCK OUT WITH YOUR COCK OUT

LMAO! Winger and Richard marx were a part of the broader category of cheese. We started out with bands like Winger, Nelson and Cinderella. But then I pulled the Marx card which won the whole competetion. And it was Marx who pissed of roomate #3.

Eagles of Death Metal now playing on an iTunes near me.

Hoobastanks newest album.

Kurgon....you rock yet AGAIN. I usually don't get into songs that are totally overplayed - but "REASON" is such a great tune...and the rest of the cd follows suit. <3

I just listen to what I like. :D I like all kinds of music, classical, country, some pop, rock, electronica/techno(any random name that gets attached to it anymore "trip-hop, trance, acid, industrial, ), rap , r&b, blues, musicals, jazz... I never could understand how someone could say they love music but then can list whole generas (sp?) that they won't even attempt to listen to.

Separated at birth? [Hmm] Jez I love all things metal from '82-'95 (with an occasional smattering past 1995-present)
You may also be interested in the fact that I just got done treating a co-worker to a sweet rendition of Slaughter's "Fly to the Angels" ^.~

Woot!

Saw Whitesnake, Winger, Warrant and Slaughter at some outdoor concert a while back...a guy I dated made me a 10cd set from this annual "Hair to Spare" party they have where they go all out 80's glam metal and..cuz I just love to say it..

Iron & Wine - Creek Drank the Cradle
and
Winds - The Imaginary Direction of Time

I like to be eclectic.

I haven't heard that one, and Iron and Wine is more a him, like Nine Inch Nails.

Music of the Night - Phantom of the Opera, Motion Picture Soundtrack

The Mitch Hedberg cd's my brother burned for me over Christmas. I saw him at the Improv - he is freaking hilarious. <3
