What did I do wrong?! (Lyrai)

There is an incongruity with what we belive should be or ought to be and what really is. For example, we have a 65 MPH speed limit on our highways. But do people never drive faster than 65MPH?

Even though the developer may never intended Ninjas to tank, the reality is tanking is what they do best. The same goes with SMN, healing is the reality of their role in PT.
 
If you don't want to fuckin heal, don't waste a whm sub, sub a DRG or some shit. SMNs are healers. End of story.
 
Yeah, sorry to see she snapped like that. I've partied with her a few times (with Torque) and she was a pretty good summoner. She did some backup cures then, so I don't know what set her off this time.
 
And wow, you really have some nerve getting an attitude with someone who's helping you out. What a selfish bitch. "You're someone I would like to punch in the face".

PS: Summoners are main healers.

It's poeple like this that make me want to slap the teeth right out of thier mouths! Summoner is a main healer job......DUH!

Summoners that don't want to heal are as bad as Paladins who don't want to voke "Cuz we have a NIN!!". Everyone in this game would benefit from learning something about the job they are using. Chances are if someone is trying to give you advice....that means they (for the most part) probably know what they are talking about.


When someone says to me "Hey man why are you doing that?" or "Hey why aren't you using this?" I stop and listen. Instead of being a rude bitch and blisting every person who says something to me. Because they might just have a level 75 paladin, and don't want me to be a total ass clown.


So Lyrai maybe you should STFU and listen to poeples advice more often. You might just learn something.

I have had the unfortunate experience of pting w/ lyria while she was a whm. Never again will i pt with her. I have never heard so many complaints within the span of one chain, after which she disbanded. just wierd.
On a side note, yesterday i got invited to a pt by linkwizard who is a smn. The pt set up was pld, rng, mnk, blm, rdm and smn. We were fighting dhalmels (sp?) in bibiki and i kept getting silenced. The whole time im asking him to silena me and he wouldnt, so the blm had to. I asked him why he wasnt, and he said something to the effect of "that isnt my job, let the blm do it". WTF, If your gonna invite me to a pt w/o a whm, at least take care of my ass when im tanking for you. I was gettin more cures from the rdm and blm. In this case, shouldnt he be expected to heal? Damn, stupid people piss me off.

I agree. I'm all for flaming people, whatever. But to wish for someone to harm themselves or kill, thats really fucked up. I think you took that too far, prince. You are wishing harm on someone over a fucking game. Now, no, I don't know what disagreements everyone has with Lyrai, nor do I even really know Lyrai. But seriously, if you don't like the person, at least respect them as a human being... playing a game.
 
You know what I'm saying. Jeez. Some people play this game so goddam seriously. I'm pointing out that its harsh telling people to go kill themselves. Maybe Lyrai is psychotic or schizo and likes to cut herself, maybe she just lies about everything, whatever. Encouraging her isn't going to benefit any kind of situation. I just think its really amazing Princemercury that you feel you can say shit like you say and still refer to yourself as a "Decent person."
 
well she used that whole thing about hurting herself on me, and seeing how she uses that to everyone, it seems she uses it to her benifit.

when she did it to me, i found myself in an uncomfortable situation not knowing if she was serious.

with all these other reports, it doesnt seem she is serious, she is just an attention starved, spoiled little brat.

she needs to wake up and realize that threatining people isnt the way to get where one needs to in life, because one day someone is going to call her threats.

she has a lot of growing up to do.
 
Next time you guys see someone threatening to take their life in game I'd put a call into a GM. I'm sure SE would take a rediculous threat like that very seriously after the Everquest death.

It'd sure put her in her place.
