I was just curious as to what people do for gil?

Myself i have been farming lizard skins.
I often fish now that the new system makes fishing enjoyable.
Sometimes with thf subbed, i go to the Delkfut(sp) Tower and pillage Gigas.
When i level low levels, i got to Ghelsba and farm fire crystals.

The occasional NM hunt.

Thats pretty much it.

I dont make much, but it gets me going for the most part.

I wanna take up chocobo digging, but its VERY time consuming and expensive...

I am just looking for a big score! tee hee.
 
for low level, i go to ghelshba and farm dark crystals and mushrooms from mushrooms (duh).
 
I grow pot. And it is good. ^_^

*cough* And by grow I mean farm, and by pot I mean magic pot shards.

Ever see a MNK farming pots in Delkfutts? It was probably me, I spend more time there than in town. >_<
 
Low level stuff since I am a WHM with THF sub.

Beehive Chips, Saruto Cotton, Silk Threads, Wild Onions, Grass Threads, Dhamel items, Bomb ash, Cotton cloths.

I get a kick at using Sneak Attack with my little hammer. ^_^
 
When i need to farm, its normaly Goobers in Zi'Tah. If you can get lucky and have only 1-2 others there, you can make about 60k an hour.

20k a stack always, but the fun thing is that you need to be a MNK to cover 3 spawns like I do. *praises MNK bonus against pots and bones and everyone else's damage reduction, and praises Chakra more*
 
well, i usually....wait, you almost got me. i almost told you that i can make about 30k an hour farming silk in rolanberry. good thing i didn't or business would be ruined...


WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!

I don't want more people to compete with!

Long story short though, I farm stuff that I can make profitable things from.
 
I farm spider webs... you can make retarded gil farming them in Western Altep desert... SO go farm them and flood the market.

Realy I am being seriuse I need alot of webs cause I craft with them.
 
i can do pretty decent against magic pots....i have arcana killer and half the time the pots just sit there while i stabbity stab stab them.
 
i usually farm archer knives, but prices have plummeted in the last couple of days, from 70k to 50k, im not one to b greedy but i kinda need every little bit i can get since im saving for a haubergeon >.<
 
I camp Leaping Lizzy, Orctrap, various random NMs. I also farm goobue gardeners sometimes. ^^
 
i usually camp for dodge earrings or farm for crafting matierals then make em. alot cheaper and you can gain some money out of it.
 
I ussually farm the Dangruf Wadi. I can make a little over 20k there off Animal Glue and Sulfer, get a few thousand in gil drops, and the quest items/item drops can make me another few thousand.

Round trip doesn't take me an hour, and the goldsmith guild is back in Bastok waiting for me.

I hope you NM hunting bums aren't in my way when I go after my boots. You couldn't handle the competition. :P

Before you go to camp, I suggest doing a /sea sgustaberg and making sure Tyrath isnt there as thf/rng. Cuz if I am your chances of getting claim are low :roll:

But if Im anon in the area or in another job your path is clear :lol:

Edit: i put thf/war before...as if that was a good lizzy camping combo -. -

I won't be camping her for a while, but I'd be happy to compete with you or anyone else. Thf/Rng I'd bring Thf/War, but I don't think it's as good.
