I'm not sure about the others, but I can say for a certainty that I've both read and heard from many, many sources (including Nintendo itself) that Super Mario Galaxy will not only NOT be available at launch ... it won't even be available this year.

In fact, that post is pretty much the only place I've seen it stated otherwise. :/

From what I've gathered the Wii will have a very large launch base, probbaly the most games available at launch than anyother console so far.

I know america gets the console first so they can get in on black friday sales. Then japan and europe within a month? Can someone confirm that?

More like Japan and Europe 2 weeks later, to be precise. Ships November 19th, US Soil. Retailable November 20th. World-wide release outside of the US on December 2nd.

I just want Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros, and then some other random RPG games I hate first-person shooter games and sport games. Action games are OK though, like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Project Zero etc. Those are mostly on PS2 though, but I refuse to pay $700 for a console I won't use untill late-2007, which is why I'll get Wii. Cheap, and lots of great games
