What happened to Raise 3 prices O.o??

I suddenly feel quite good about only spending 200k on my raise 3, but now I trully regret using it. 1.5 mill...wow :shock: I want to sell mine back.

Wouldn't it rock if we could sell spells back? (like take Selbina crack and "unlearn" them, sell the scrolls) I mean, there are more than a few lower levels spells that I never use...

What do you mean unlearn your spells???? I still spam poison all the time when fighting mobs, way less mp then Absorb-dex...... :lol:

And you should see my MB off Stone (1) for 6 dmg, now that's some pretty usefull stuff!!!!

Its nothing new. At the introduction of raiseII when they moved the cap to 60, do you know how you obtained raise2? Guess not. It was prior to the NA release. There were only one. Yes one way to get raise2. Thats by killing yagudo high priest. He was the ONLY way to get a scroll of raise2. I am talking about the time when raise2 was 1mill gill.

A couple of months later, they made more BCNMs and of course raise2 drop has been confirmed in there. So prices went lower. At the introduction of 70 cap, raise3 was like now prices going from the range of 1mill~1.5mill was normal. Prices of raise3 going up is due to supply vs demand. Many people doesn't do those kindred bc30 which drops raise3. But rather moves to other bcnms.

Raise 3 has been around for over a year now and just recently the price has tripled. That is what is so amazing.

Pure greed it is. These ppl who inflate the prices then criticise WHMs for not having it. This can also be aplied to any of the expensive and somewhat considered to be mandatory items. (eg Emp Hairpin for NIN).

But the hairpin actually benefits YOU...raise 3 does not benefit a whm unless they charge for it...

Ok, I'm gonna go ahead and ask a n00b question....

Why do NIN absolutely need Emp Hairpin? The idea is to have the shadow absorb the hits no? Why do you need evasion skills then?

As you can see, I have'nt played ninja but would like to start it, just woundering about this.

Because if the mob misses you, you get to keep that extra shadow. It's better for NINs not to get hit at all, saves whm's mp on curing which keeps hate on the NIN...makes shadows last longer...and is cheaper!!

The highest level used to be 60? Suddenly I feel leet for being 63. 8)

I have the raise 3 scroll sitting in my mog house... I bought it before price boost just to be sure I'd have it. Someone was shouting they were offering 1.6 mill for it... was tempting, but naw. =p

Rumor has that certain groups have been camping the Admantking for sometime and are keeping all the Raise 3s

Adamanking is a lotto of a 21-24 hour pop, the same way king behemoth is. My understanding is you might see him twice a week. I don't know if this is a guaranteed drop, and doubt even one scroll every other week comes from him.

Meanwhile kirin drops this scroll, and I'm sure he is killed more often than adamanking is. It's also a drop from what used to be one of the most popular Kindred fights.

I honestly don't see what is so huge about this spell. At level 61-75, R2 is 600 exp loss, R3 is 200 exp loss. The difference, 400 exp. That's a 10 minute chain in a very crappy party. I see this spell as slightly more important as the ancient spells that most blms never buy.
