What happens if your quartermaster already has a rare piece?

[Peregrine]

Is the item immediately lost, or does it go to someone else?

It will hold in pool so someone else can lot on it. Ran into this a bunch with a Druid Rope doing BCNM 40's. You just gotta make sure someone gets it before everyone zones. If the last person in the zone can't get it, it's lost.

Thank ya.
