What Has Happened To British Justice?

Well, Ive kind of been thinking the same thing, but more along the lines of:

"What is the world thinking?"

It seems the more we advance in some areas, other areas just begin to circle down the drain pipe
 
I thought the same thing. Then our Swedish judges gave 2 rapists the longest punishment available for raping and punching a 19-year old woman. At first I had lost all hope, since they even had proof the event took place, due to them sending SMS's between each other consisting of "We should fuck that whore again sometime, hehe", and several other. But then I regained my hope after they re-evaluated the case.

Now I believe all judges but 1 suck.
 
Well, most judges all over suck. There are some good ones out there, but when people win millions of dollars from lawsuites against mcdonalds for spilling coffee on themselves(that happened years ago but it's the only example I can think of right now) there's something seriously wrong with the justice system.

I wonder if he spent more money on getting such an awesome lawyer, than he won from the lawsuit...
 
Judges, courts and really the entire justice system is completely fucked. Yeh theres the odd judge or so out there that actually does the right thing and puts his foot down and goes through with it. But now all people do really is settle outside of court so no one has to do any work. The whole system needs a shake down and sorting out.
 
You want injustice? Rebecca Middleton. Biggest Case Fuck my home country has ever seen. Even worse since we're on Sharpe's system... somewhat. But I do remember once my dad said that after a case went awry with the perpetrator getting off easy from a rape the victim's father waited outside the court and clubbed the judge over with a hammer. I think a few more of them need this treatment.
 
Wow..three-year supervision order? For kicking the shit out of this old guy, because his hat was knocked off... >.>;; I'd be "disapointed" with that verdict to.

Good god that guy is crazy! Why the hell did he do that??? He should've been locked up with the key thrown away into the deepest darkest pit imaginable!

*sigh* Well, from my point of view, there is (unfortunately) almost no such thing as justice in the UK any more. Criminals have been getting more and more cocky since the death penalty was abolished in the 50s. True the last person to be hung was wrongfully acused, but good god...

The death penalty struck fear into criminals, and because we don't have it any more, criminals are getting away with a lot more now because they know they can get away with it since the so called "justice" here, is alomst unfortunately non-existant.

If the PM is reading this (HIGHLY unlikely), this is what the justice system needs:

1) The Death Penalty
2) Tougher convictions
3) More High security jails
4) More (properly trained!) Police officers.

thats my view, wishful thinking which will (unfortunately) NEVER happen.

Anyways, this guy should've been locked up for a few decades and sent for anger management.
