What has your LS done for you?

Just out curiousity, I was wondering what fun things your LS has done for you?

I'm just thinking because being part of Bigfun, I've seen them plan many events. This included their eco-warrior outings and their naked races (which is what made me REALLY want to be in their LS..hehe.. Subligar!!!). (Rune, in fact, we liked it so much, we borrowed your idea..lol.. and had a race with the bears but we always give you the credit for thinking it up).

So, other than the typical levelling, static, questing, has your LS held any other events?
 
alot of good times...that is what my ls has provided. many good players that like to have fun and goof off
 
leading an RP LS always provides much fun and events. If you ever see a group of 10+ people hangin around in a city or a tavern wandering around aimlessly with a black pearl, chances are it's the Nightblades Rping in pt chat XD.

Other than rping we also do lots of other stuff, naked runs to different places, random exploring, we did choco racing once i think, and we have a lottery once a week just for kicks XD. Everyone is extremely helpful and lots of fun. XDD Hurrah to the NB!
 
My LS is very helpful, as it is all japanese LS they all have Lv75 jobs it seem or multiple... and they offer to help me out a lot, as well as I go and do the best I can to help them when I can.

Small LS with mostly a tight group of friends so large events are not usually possible, but still a great group of guys and girls to hang with.
 
My LS kicks massive amounts of ass and uses dirty language

My linkshell has a lot of people who help each other. Tonight we did San D'oria's Eco-Warrior as a group and completely kicked the Necroplasm's ass. Tomorrow a bunch of us are fighting dragons for those of us (myself among them) who need Rank 3. And tomorrow night we're planning to do a garrison.

The Lv. 1 race from Sandy to Jeuno is still in the planning stage, though. I can't wait. I'll probably die before I can get across Ronfaure.

well, BoK does NOTHING for me lol. but I LOVE them! They are sooo funny and we all have the same humor^^ We barely help each other because of the major lvl differences but I tottaly enjoy them^^ we dont have ANY rules in our LS and it works out fine. We dont have that "no religion, no Politics" thing that Bigfun has. Which is probably why I dont go there much anymore, I just dont feel like I can really say anything without having someone get offended.
We joke around soo much and insult each other, but in the end we all know we are just joking^^ For example: for about 2 hrs, BoK was torn in half in a discusssion on who owned the Galka : the Taru or the Humes. Things got pretty vulgary and profenity was abundent, but we had fun. We have had stuff planned, like Genaki 1 and 2 but thats about it. All in all BoK is FUN and a very tight community of players. I truly believe that the weirdset most insane ppl in all of Vanadiel somehow wounded up in the same LS. (if you saw all the stuff we posted in our Private Forum, you would see the statement is true^^)
Im sorry to Bigfun, but I dont have as much fun there as in BoK.
 
More than half of my ls knows each other in real life, so we're all pretty goddamned close, and I have problems not using real names in game, and using game names in real life. Everyone is very helpful, for example the party of me, Sindarkus, Onuresus, and Seveath who all kindly set aside their boring lives to help me get my garlaige key recently. The four or five we don't know in real life are all super folks with whom we can chat, be blithely cynical about things, confuse each other with esoteric and non-english ls messages, and the like.
 
Defend the LS!

Wow, looks like I'm the 1st Bigfun rep to come and defend us here >.<

Well I can say with the utmost honesty that Bigfun (Dispite some internal drama) is by far the best LS I have been on and will continue to be as long as I have any say.

1st, about the "Rules", the only reason Runekane wanted to keep politics and religion out of the shell, was becouse stuborn and arogant people, like me, feel real strong about our opinions and will eventualy end up getting into a fight over them! :D

So to avoid that, simple, talk about it in /tells! We've also seen our share of drama over job selections, leveling your subs and hell even Genki for crying out loud (Yeah it was stupid... -_-) But what it comes down to, is that Bigfun is so well put together that people like me have been there from like day one, and refuse to leave. A good LS is like a drug, you keep getting sucked back to it, and I'm proud to say that Bigfun has has it's fair share of returning adicts :D

The numerous LS events like the "Nakie-races" to jeuno from Sandy and Windy, the upcomming murder mystery, the upcomming hide and seek game, and the birthday parties are what really pulls the LS together on a personel level. There are quite a few HL's in the Shell that are willing to help people out whenever they need it, a few statics in there and in general, the warmest greetings and farewells that could bring a smile to the loneliest players :)

And most important of all (to me atleast), friends. Plain and simple, friends that you can joke and talk to, console you when your down and help you back up when you are. I know personally, as one of the oldest players in the shell and now one of the highest, people in the LS can have NO WORRIES if they need help with somthin, they need only ask, and if someone can? They will help. (Otherwise Rune, Harm, Ele, Narell, Jobe, Aubrie, Danpen, and the rest of us, will be all over their butts!)

And I can say, in good hopes, that Bigfun has one of the best reputations on the server. I know very few people that can sit back and find anything really wrong with the LS in general. Now granted, from the inside, the travels for the HL's gets kinda boring and your forced onto your Friends list to find help and PTs, but thats a small price to pay to be one of the ones thats doing the helping on the shell. :)

Weeell.... With that said, I love my LS and my friends in it, and I couldn't ask for anything more :) See ya on the shell guys!

I've been on BigFun since around the time it was first invented >>;
Of course, this was in my newbie days, lvl8RDM I think, no sub, oi...
Then I see this taru in an awesome Fungus Hat, i'm like :O That is a kick ass hat!
I asked him where Ranp. Tomb was(I refused to shout it in San d'Oria) and he showed me and helped me kill bats :O
He gave me a pearl, and i've been on that LS ever since...Yeah, i've been on other LS's, but I never really spend much time on there...So I'm on BigFun about 99.999999999999999999999% of the time :D
I've never witnessed any drama due to my odd play times, but I guess that is a blessing :D
If I ever do become a high level in the LS, I would help as much as I can ^^; Granted...that is far away...

My ls is really close group of friends ^^ we help each other out as much as we can, but we're not big enough anymore to do big events like we used to do =(

Anyways my ls (and it's various incarnations) has helped me with:
Subjob items
Kazham keys (not much higher lvl help, just a group of the 25's killing stuff all day long XD)
2-3 dragon
All rank 3 + 4 missions
Genkai (one long ass night -.- we needed 3 papers)
Saving my life like a bajillion times XD
my crappy AF wand
 
our LS is the same as Wonko's in the way that we all sans a couple people know each other in real life, so while our ingame events mostly involve saying cock a lot out of the game I think this is the first weekend in recent memory something hasn't been going on.

but then again, when your circle of friends is also your LS that shouldn't be considered out of the ordinary

limit break 1 (all 3 items [actually I got the mold in an exp pt])

That is all I can remember for now. Of course, I
NEVER EVER ASK FOR HELP!

Whenever my LS comes back from killing gods or HNMs or whatever the hell it is you end-game people do for fun, and see that I'm not in an exp pt or something else....they usually love to help me for some reason.

I don't know if I am polite or what but they just love to help me!

Because you're a little tarutaru and they are like "OMG SO KAWAII~!" and they want to help you and make you the best damned tarutaru ever! :D

Yes I know I am way too Kakkoii especially in the way I talk and greet them....they also wanted to help me on my genkai 2 last night....but the alliance was full so they decided to lvl their 4th job to 75 and kill some more gods or whatever.

As someone else up there said...I don't ask for help. I don't have to...when my ls buds see me getting close to something whether its AF1, genkai, etc...They tell me...that we need to get it done..lol This weekend I logged on and Direwolf asks me if I need the Vazhl Crystal...he's in the glacier hunting an NM...I say YES! and he tells me to get my butt out there and leads me safely there. Alanon has helped me with COUNTLESS missions & quests. And now that I'm getting a bit higher in level I love the fact that I can return the favor to others in the ls..helping members level thief for TH...or getting their rse. My ls is probably THE only reason why i play this game.
