what if....RP

Jinnai stops and looks at the Tarutaru.

"After we kill them all within the cave, knowing orcs, they will get out, and be infuriated, and we would be in another war. Kill them, its our only solution."

Jinnai focuses back on the trail.

Mara Jade watches the group turn the corner, and moves out of her hideing place too the west. She had seen the Elvaan warrior in action, and was deeply worried. She needed to examine the orcs he had slain with his blade to confirm her suspicions.

She walked up to one of the corpses, and knelt down beside it. And knew for certain that what she had feared was true. It was the orcs blood, or rather, the lack of it, that told her. hile there was blood in the wounds, there wasnt nearly as much as there should be, considering the orc was cut in half. It had been drained by the blade. Mara looked at the path the others had taken, and wondered if the warrior even had the slightest idea he was being controled by a Demon weapon.......

OOC: yahoo, some plot forms!

OCC: Lokkin, if you have somthing planed for what that stone is, let me know. Dont need to say what, just that you do. otherwise, i have my own ideas lol. But i dont want to screw up whatever you are doing.

The ferocity of her new companions was surprising, thought Mistaya as she followed a few paces behind.

But all too familiar.

The brightly colored gloves on her hands hid the old calluses(sp?) from holding something much heavier than a flute. The grim reddish brown target painted on the wood and skin staff on her back was not painted with dyes. (Monster Signa)

"I can show you a place... A place where the fat ones make their home. I went there once, long ago." She said. There was a wistful tone in her voice, though the others may not have noticed it. Long ago indeed. When the Sybil called on warriors to travel to distant lands, Mistaya had been one of the brave crew to assault the orc fortress. She had been one of only 2 survivors. They had defeated a minor warchief, Vatgit. But it had been enough to stop most of the raids on Ronfarue.

"Follow if you think you are up to it." She said, turning from thier current path and marching north. "But... I give a warning. Those who once walk the path of vengence, seldom find happiness at the end of the road." She smiled faintly, as memories stirred.

OOC: This refers to the rank 3 mission where you go to sandoria first.
In keeping with the story, and the game, I would like the characters to be able to swap jobs at the moogle. But, in story context. Mistaya is a Bard at the moment, yet obviously has been something else in the past. She just stores her armor and stats in town :P Just an idea to throw out.
Plot gooooood. Feed me more w00t w00t.

Killing the Warchief sparks Jender's interest.

"Now we're talking, let's go...and grab the guys along the way. They are probably still showing off up ahead"

Jender starts following Mistaya, glad to have company in times like this. "Must keep busy" Jender thinks to herself, knowing that someday in the near future, she will have to return to an empty Mog House. Atleast this adventure was distracting her from the sorrow that her heart still freshly feels...but can she trust her mates? <sigh> "I hope so" she mutters..."I hope so"

"Bah why must I waste arrows on these weaklings?"

Lokkin leaning back on the wall after yet another curious orc walked by the 5 orc pile he had stacked... it was now 6 of course but he wasnt too interested in numbers as long as some of them are dead.

"I'm getting little to no time to figure out how im going to go about with that stone still completely connected... It's going to be dangerous teaching her but it's the only way.."

Jinnai walked into a hutched area, and orcs came out of their hutches only to find their maker. One orc pulled out a bow and shot it at Jinnai, however, Jinnai unsheathed his katana and struck the arrow and sent it back at the orc. Jinnai jumped to dodge the fodder's attack and ran along the wall, until he saw the orc that fired the arrow, he quickly jumped off the wall and thrusted his blade down and landed with a big impact, knocking dust and rocks away from the striking point. All the orc blinded, even Jinnai at the moment.

"A great monk once taught me that even if you lose sight, you can still strike your foe from where ever he stood. Listen and smell your foul oppenent(sp?) and you will be able to locate their where-abouts."

At that moment Jinnai picked up where the fodders were, he pulled out 3 Shuriken and hurled them in that direction and nailed all 3. After a few seconds of the Orc's moaning and finally collapsing dead to the ground. Jinnai walked out of the hutch area, slowly getting his sight back.

"Yes Shinkage Ryu, i will defeat all my oppenents, you need not to worry, for surely i will not die today."

Jinnai found his way to the top of the cliff to meet with the others.

OOC: yeah i got something good planned for the stone secret though lol

"We need to get to those caves.. um.. i mean thats where the most orcs would be.. we dont HAVE to go."

Lokkin thinks to himself "Great... real smooth... "

Lokkin mutterred to himself about how stupid he was and followed Jinnai.

Jender follows into the dim cave...and starts being filled with memories of her childhood. The last time she saw her father was at the age of eight. They headed into an unknown cave one afternoon to escape from the rain and found a mighty beast. Jender's father told his child to run and hide...upon doing so she got lost in the depths of the cave and came out another end...never seeing her father again.

Jender sighs, realizing that most of her life has been made up of sad memories. Everything that had made her truly happy was gone.... and though the killing is a distraction for her, it does not remedy anything.

She grabs the stone, thinking about tossing it into the dungeon and letting an Orc take her life...but as soon as it reaches her hand - the warm glow seduces her. She feels attached to this stone...suddenly the thought of losing it pains her. Fearfully, she drops it - and falls to the floor, gasping for air. Her stomach ties in knots, her blood begins to boil - she grabs the stone with what is left of her strength - and the symptoms go away. She is back to normal....except for the soft tears and mild shaking of her body. She starts to realize that she is bound to the stone.

She sits for a moment wondering what the hell is going on...

Jender begins to regain her composure..."I think so....thank you...must've eaten some bad pie or something" she says with a nervous laugh.

She looks up at Jinnai and, for some reason, feels comfort. She hasn't felt that in awhile. Jender smiles and and begins to follow Jinnai into the cave.

Lokkin thinks to himself "That was not a good sign... i need to get it away from her before it gets too attached..."

"Jender? can i feel the stone please? dont worry i wont take it just lay it out in your hand?"

Jender looks at Lokkin....and realizes that she has no choice, maybe he can help her - or atleast explain what is happening to her.

"Ok" Jender says, smiling nervously at Lokkin - hands trembling a bit as she reaches for the stone, and holds it out infront of him.

Lokkin lays a hand over it gently.

"Tell me if you feel anything Jender." Lokkin softly runs his hand over the stone.

Jender trembles..."it is very warm - oddly enough, I feel incredibly calm - that never happens...do you know what this is? Earlier, when I dropped it, I felt as though I was going to die - I filled with immense pain - and when I held onto it again, everything was fine. What is this gift that he has given me, and why does it seem to effect me physically?" a tear runs down Jender's cheek...she is beginning to panic a bit, but is relieved to be sharing some of this with people who seem trustworthy.

Lokkin thinks a bit.

"OK Jender, the best course of action... if you want this to stop happening when you leave it behind, would be to let your anger course through you."

Lokkin stares at the bard.

"You know what I'm talking about dont you?"
