what if....RP

Jender puts a hand on Lokkin's shoulder "It's ok....maybe she has the right idea" Jender turns away, tired of weeping infront of her friends "Maybe you should take my life, and bury me with the stone....be done with all of this. I have no control over what is happening to me, and have no clue as to what I am capable of. Am I even strong enough to make it to Garliage?" Lokkin tries to comfort Jender by placing his hand on her back, she turns around and gives him a gentle hug (as her chest is still very bruised) and whispers "I trust you."

Lokkin whispers back with a slight smile on his face "You shouldn't but thanks anyway," letting go of Jender.

"Inuko, I don't know why you did what you did but I'll let it lie, now if you give me that axe blade and handle ill fix it for you."

Jender feels as if she is caught in a spiral. She trusted no one at first, and now - when she needs the most help, one of her friends tries to kill her, the other TELLS her that he is untrustworthy.....all she had in the world was taken from her, and all she has to show for it is this stone that is damaging her entire existence.

Jender breaks out in a cold sweat, and begins to walk. The stone turns ice cold in her pocket - she grabs it, and wraps leather around it, ties a string onto it and wears it around her neck. She thinks about her life and what it is worth.

Suddenly she thinks of Jinnai. Where is he? The stone begins to vibrate a bit. "I must find him"

Mistaya was not shocked by Inuko's actions, but her ears lay flat on her head as she glared at the other Mithra. "Do not do that again." She said. She could feel the old power pulsing behind her eyes. It was not something she wanted, but not something she could help either.

Jender was doing very poorly, and Mistaya did not know what to do at all. Her body had reacted much differently to the stone. Perhaps it drew on the soul of the person..? That would explain it...

They came to within sight of the great Holla Crag.

Mayoke led Jinnai back to Kazham.

"Mayoke, this isn't Ifrit's Cauldron!" Jinnai scolded the opo-opo.

Mayoke ran up to one of them Mithran guards, and howled at Jinnai motioning it's hand to talk to that person. Jinnai walked up to the guard.

"I see yourrr opo-opo is wise. Please stay clearrr of Ifrrit's Cauldron and arreas nearrr therre. It has been verrry hot and drry nearr, you can possibly die. Please stay in Kazham, or anywhere but Ifrrit's Cauldron. Thank you." The mithran guard announced.

Jinnai petted Mayoke. "Heh, I thank you little friend," Jinnai walked down to the docks, pulled out a fishing rod, "Let us fish and wait for the others."
Mayoke cocked his head, and then looked down in the water to help catch fish.

OOC: Since I am so ahead as far as traveling goes, I will wait, due to the reasons =P

Inuko stands there, shaking, thinking ...

The Thunder around Ifrit's Cauldron had died down after 2 Nights. The Jungle was once again cool at Night. As silently as a whole Village can move, the Many Mithra prowl through the Jungles, forever toward the Ocean, forever away from Home. With them a young Huntress walks, only little burns cover her and her Red Clothing is only slightly torn. When suddenly all Hell breaks loose, Goblins Rain from the Sky, killing and maiming many. Forever their Battlecry sounds in her Ears, and forever she hears the others Screams. This Night it is said the Tribes around the Cauldron's Base died, but miraculously, one Survived.

... and she looks up, drops her broken Axe and weeps. Sobbing she cries: "It is a Mercy, can't you see ?" "The Stone will drive her into the Unholy Frenzy !" she wails, "She'll kill us all ! Just like when it destroyed my Village." After this, the now broken Warrior falls on her knees and weeps silently.

OOC: And You thought your Character had Problems 8D

"Jender let me see the stone for a minute."

Lokkin was wondering just how much it was changing in a given time, and just how much it COULD change.

Jender ignores Lokkin and continues on her path. "Heh...he tells me that I shouldn't trust him, then asks for my most prized possession? Get real" she mutters to herself. She holds onto the stone around her neck with her left hand, keeping her right hand on her sword at all times. She senses that things have changed in the group...which brings her great sadness...but also makes her more careful about being naive with strangers. She MUST keep her mind on getting to the Cauldron, and nothing else.

The group follows Jender into Jugner Forest. A black tiger jumps infront of an unexpecting Mistaya. Jender's skin begins to glow with a red intensity. She turns her head to see the tiger, reaches out one hand, and blasts the tiger with more fire than she has ever seen. She did not realize that her spells had grown so powerful so quickly. Jender walks over to the charred beast, cuts a slice of meat from it with her sword, and eats it....then continues to walk.

Mistaya is the last person whom she wanted to see die. She felt a strange bond with her, but was afraid to trust anyone again.

Meanwhile, in the Back of the Group, a small Mithra drags a broken Axe and occassionally sniffles loudly.

The Village had gone to bed for the Night and only the Sentries werent asleep. The Night was warm and humid, so conditions in the Hut's weren't all pleasant. Few Guards even saw the Looming Figure of Ifrit approach and tear down the Gates, they had ben smoldered by Blasts of Fire. Now all the Mithra were assembled once again in the Center of Town, cringing from the mighty Demon radiates. "Where is my STONE ?" ,Ifrit yells, smoldering the First few Ranks with his molten Breath, "SPEAK !" ... The Elvaan who presided over the Whereabouts of the Stone was the First to die that Day. And many followed until Ifrit had cooled his Anger.
An Ancient Line had been broken and Ifrit's Reign of Terror was once again spread over the Land.

Inuko whinces as the old Burns on her Ribs ache again, a dull Reminder of how she had failed her Angry God ...

OOC: Just sayin I'm taggin' along, BTW does anyone have a Clue what we'll do at the Cauldron ?

OOC: that was supposed to be a joke... to comfort your character you know? /sigh

OOC: uh... the plots kinda spinning away from what i expected but i guess ill play along

OOC: LOL! sorry I thought you were turning into a bad guy - sorry! You will have to win me over again moooowahahahaha ;)

OOC: great, woohoo! grats to me!

IC: "Uh jender? did you hear me? I asked if I could look at the stone."

Jender stops in her tracks and turns to Lokkin. Her initial thought was to throw some fire his way, then....the stone around her neck started turning warm. She looked into his eyes and began to realize that he has done nothing but try to help her on this quest. Maybe she has been thinking irrationally...she has been having trouble controling her head lately. She decides to take a chance, (what else has she got to lose?) and smile at Lokkin and reaches for the stone.

She takes the stone off of her neck, her heart begins to race. Lokkin holds his hand out, and Jender holds the pouch with the stone in it over his hand....but cannot physically let go of it. She opens her hand to drop it, but it will not fall. Jender begins to sweat, heart racing faster by the second, she begins to feel very dizzy....

"Put it away jender put it away!"

Lokkin forces Jenders hand closed and moves her hand closer to her own heart.

Jender fantasizes about throwing the stone on the ground and jumping up and down upon it, but knows in her heart that she could never do such a thing.

She sighs, slips the stone around her neck, and stares blankly at her friends, as if to say - "I give up" then turns and begins to head toward Ifrit's once again....she knows that their journey must take them there soon...

Lokkin looked over at Mistaya and waited for her to realize what she meant before he went over and spoke,

"I need to know how much you know mistaya..."

OOC: hmmm this is getting kinda wacky.. lets set a real backstory so we all know what to expect. This should give us more of a reason/make writing about the stones easier. I'll edit if you guys no likee.

As night fell the group camped on the edges of the Jugner Forests, a mossy moldy smelly forest that was as old and rotten as the world.

"I thought I knew everything about the stone but I see now that I know nothing at all. Maybe if I share what I thought I knew we can do something..." She sighed deeply remembering the cold...

"The stone I had in my possesion was Ramuh's. And it behaved a lot differently... I am beginning to put the pieces of the puzzle together here. It seems each of the great Summon Gods have a shard of their power in certain stones... When they fall into mortal possession, nothing but disaster can occur."

The scars on her palms burned fircely.

"Which is why we are taking Jender to Ifrit's Cauldron. The only way to get rid of it may be to give it back to Ifrit Himself."
