what if....RP

Devi began to grow impatient they weren't moving, she couldnt' do anything with them so close together. In the distance thunder crackled. A storm is coming, that should help a little, I can only hope its' a heavy rain. Drops of water began drop down, making lots of noise as they beat down upon large leafs and beaded off. As the ground turned to mud under her feet, a grin spread across Devi's face. Things may work out after all.

Lokkin began to walk over to the bush that the stranger had entered from, he did not believe that it was him making the noise, the noise was too subtle for this man.

"Shentarnachmetag urndetapnat!" he chanted under his breathe.

Whatever had been in the bushes ceased moving, and Lokkin proceeded to the bushes.

OOC: *giggle* was at kazham recently and just couldnt resist

Devi watched with baited breath as one of group member began walking into the bushes. It was time to do something. One way or the other she was going to be seen. Kill this one. No. Take the Samurai. Go for Daroth now! Thoughts ran back and forth across her mind. She took a deep breath and collected her nerves, she placed one hand on her bow. No, a more hands on approach is what's needed. There! The Samurai has his back turned, move around the one coming at you and take him. The rain will hide the sounds of your steps. If you move quickly they wont' be able to follow you. Devi noded to herself and decided this was the time to act. An orange blur shot out from the bushes past the person moving toward her and right up the Samurai's back, driving a knife into his leg and grabbing him. They both vanished deep into the bush. Leaving only a few drops of blood and silence.

OOC: I cleared this with Jinnai so don't worry. ^^

"Dammit! I missed!"

Lokkin scanned the area looking for what appeared to be a tarutaru clad in orange, then turned to Daroth,

"This is your fault! who the hell was she!"

OOC: Funny how I like opo-opo's, but I can't wait to be a high enough level to kill them >D

After Jinnai was quickly kidnapped by the orange blur, Mayoke hollered and screamed. He ran around screaming as if he were crying. Bastard Mayoke thought. Mayoke walked up to Jender and sat in front of her looking up at her with tear-filled eyes, though the rain were hiding the cries.

Krark had his hand on his dagger the entire time, but when Jinnai became encumbered by this Taru ambush, he switched his hand over to his longsword and unsheathed it with a quick pull of his arm. He then pointed the end right at Daroth with a grimace of hatred put upon his face.

"Unless you want to see your jugular spraying all over the jungle floor, I suggest you tell me where your damn ambush buddy went." This came out as a low and intense snarl of a sentence.

His mind wrestled with itself about what he was doing. Krark had never acted so quickly or with such passion before. It took all of his strength not to plunge the sword forward and split Daroth's neck open. It wasn't even because he hated Daroth, and in all reality, he might've had nothing to do with the Taru ambush. It was just a building hatred inside of Krark that had been increasing ever since he left Jeuno.

Krark kept the sword at Daroth's neck, and waited for any movement for him to strike.

Daroth knew he had got himself in deep trouble and needed to get out of there. "Now now guys cant we comprimise?" He said as he slowly reached for his Shinobi Tabi to quickly cast tonko...but he would still need a distraction.

Daroth seen a young opo just behind the samurai. Now only if I can trick attack that monkey he would buy me enough time to get out of here so I can get some distance from these buggers...

"Hey krark, why are you using that tooth pick, here," handing over his great sword to krark, "I want a few punches at him first, MAYOKE, come here."

Jender peered down at Mayoke, realizing that Jinnai was in danger - became enraged. Her blood boiled, her skin turned pale...she grabbed Mayoke and held him under her left arm to shield him from what was about to happen.

Jender turned around, with the look of death upon her face....the stone vibrated around her neck, jerking about - but never leaving her touch. She peered at Daroth and the others and lifted her right hand slowing, letting out a screeching yell "WHERE IS JINNAIIIIIIII?!?!!?!" As Jender screamed lightning began to crack all around the group - coming uncomfortably close for some, but never to Jender. As her right hand slowly rose, so did the adventurers.

Jender stood, eyes - now a piercing purple, with Mayoke close to her - thunder smacking the earth all around her - hand risen in the air - infront of the levitating group....with no emotion in her eyes, what-so-ever.

OOC:

"JENDER! NO! YOU CAN'T HANDLE THIS MUCH YET!" his shouts being drowned out by the thunder.

Lokkin turned back to Daroth worriedly, "WHO WAS THAT?! WE NEED TO FIND JINNAI SOON NOW TELL ME WHO THAT CONIVING LITTLE TARU IS!!!"

tarutaru clad in orange,
Dude I wouldn't be caught dead in orange. I have orange hair. But anyway....

IC: Devi proped the incapasitated samurai up against a tree and began wrapping the wound that she'd inflicted on his leg. "I'm sorry I had to do that...but I needed to speak to one of you without Daroth being around. You don't seem to trust him so I picked you." Devi finished wrapping is leg. "You'll be able to walk within an hour. For now just sit tight". She reached in her bag and pulled out a canteen. "Drink this, you'll feel better" She put the canteen to Jinnai's lips and tilted it to relase the liquid inside. "I don't really know where to start so...here goes, I work the the Tenshodo, or rather I do some odd jobs for them. About two months ago Daroth took out a very large loan from them. The only problem is, it wasn't cleared with Aldo. He got quite worked up it about it all. Ferrious in fact. I told him I wanted some time off of taking jobs, and offered to bring in Daroth, in exchange for a small fee. Smaller than the other bounty hunters anyway. And that's why I'm here. I won't force you to help me, but I couldn't risk Daroth joining your group, I couldn't stop all of you on my best day." Devi sat down beside him. "My name is Devi, and aside from the stab to your leg back there, I'm not here to hurt anyone, well maybe a club to back of Daroth's head but that's part of the job." Devi dropped a compass on the samurai's lap. "Head north east to find you frineds," She dropped a small bead next to him. "If you want to help, you can contact me with that linkpearl. I'll be close by anyway." She then scaled a tree and vanished into it's branches. A voice came from the pearl. "Take care Samurai."

Upon hearing Lokkins voice, faintly over the loud thunderous crackles - something in Jender's heart seemed to have cooled her down a bit. Jender closed her eyes tightly, and when she opened them (they turned back to their original deep brown color) and noticed, in terror - what she was doing to everyone - she nervously dropped her arm, releasing the thunder storms into a calm wind - and dropping her fellow adventurers, from their suspended state.

She looked down at a shivering Mayoke, and hugged him gently, staring into the sunset.

OOC: rofl sorry

IC: "Jender, we need to talk about what you just did," not taking his eyes off daroth, "and YOU will stay here, your in plain sight so i wont miss this time,"

Lokkin chanted something under his breath, walked over to a small clearing that the thunder had cleared,

"Over here Jender."

Jinnai looked out into the jungle. He stared humbly at his dead leg and then out again. Why the hell should I care about that man's debt problem? Any bounty hunter should be able to capture any prey... Jinnai thought. Rain dripped off of the leaves and onto his leg. I mean, she stabbed me! Why should I be the enemy of someone else's enemy? He hasn't done anything wrong...yet, but I can tell he was up to no good....

Jinnai lifted his arm and put out his hand, opened it, and then closed it again. He looked past his hand, and the ghastly picture of the mithra appeared again. Jinnai's eye's widened. "Go away! I have no will to fight now!"

"Fool, are you just going to stand there while that man is near Jender and Mayoke? You don't deserve that sword!" The mithra announced.

Jinnai got angry at the comment, and rose, his leg couldn't support his weight, but he didn't care, "You know what...You are right!" Jinnai blinked and then she was gone. I must protect the others. Jinnai picked up the compass and started walking, but limping as he walked.

Devi ran and jumped through the canopy, keeping to the trees and out of mud. If they underestimate him there could be trouble, anyone trained by the Tenshodo isn't a push over. Maybe the Samurai wasn't the right one to tap. She headed North-East to continue watching Daroth. Jumping from tree to tree and staying out of sight. Then the unthinkable happened. She missed her mark, over shot the jump. This can't be good. As she fell from the trees she saw something she'd never hoped to see. The group of adventures and Daroth. Ok hit the ground running maybe they won't catch you...grab a branch and you'll be fine. She reached out for a branch or a vine or anything to keep her off the ground but it was much too late for that. She hit the ground hard, mud splashed up and covered her firey orange hair and face in the brown sludge. Back in the mud, face up, staring up at one of them, she grinned weakly.
"Hello." Her hands were over her daggers in case anything went wrong. Great Dev, you've blown your cover and Daroth is ten feet away. The Samurai you took hasn't come back yet. But on the bright side they don't know it was you...I hope...

Daroth stared at the mysterious character and recognized her face from somewhere but couldnt put his thumb on it. Soon after his attention switched over to the red mage in the group and watched her carefully. I wonder how I can use her powers to my advantage, there has to be a way to get freeand out of range of that mysterious taru. he thought to himself. "Nice of you to drop in but I have plans and places to be" he said calmly to the group. And then in the blink of an eye Daroth leaped forward pushing down one of his captors and grabbed hold of Jender and said "Now now people anymoves on my way out you wont be seeing this redmage again." Daroth had gotten desperate before but to take hostages was insane especially a red mage.
