What if there was no Final Fantasy?

I saw this topic posted on Gaiaonline and was amused by many of the replies, so I thought I'd post the same here and see what kind of responses this gets. Personally, I don't wanna live in a world without Final Fantasy **shudders at the thought**.

i started playing this game as a Junior and i was one of the most popular guys at my school, and i was on varisty sports, yada yada yada

now all i do is play ffxi, and its had very bad effects on my social, school, and atheletic life

Would probably have not ruined my life to a game...2 years gone....but what's done is done.

I lost the majority of my friends and many great musical chances due to me not being able to pull my head out of FFXI...my own fault yes but addiction is a killer.

i think the video gameing world would be much diffrent than it is today if Final Fantasy hadnt been made. It was the first game to actualy have a real storyline that wasnt "bad guy there, go stab." it introduced music that actualy had a real composer and effort put into it.

Hmmm.... I'd probably have more time painting or drawing, or writing music. Either way, I'd still be shut in most of the day. Just not a lot a person can do at 4:00am thats legal... so I'd say this game has kept me out of jail or the arms of a burley bouncer. Two places you don't want to be. :x

Wouldn't make much difference to how my life is now. I'd be on WoW, EQ2, and all my FPS games instead. Luckily, even though I'm on the game a lot, I haven't ruined my life. Still studying and everything else.

Probably just playing something else. Not necessarily an mmorpg, I still haven't played DMC3 or God of War, 2 games that I keep saying I'm gonna rent to check out. So basically all FF does is keep me from playing other games... :roll:

I'd just be playing other video games with my video game time.

I think all video games in general have a noticable effect on my grades, but maybe not. The power can be out, I can have absolutely nothing to do, and I still refuse to do my homework, so many I shouldn't blame the games . And the game has had no negative effects on the the things I really care about, like running.
