They've now said it might be tomorrow not Sunday (in so many words). The only reason I haven't cancelled and ordered US is 1) I want my CE ; ;, 2) time zone difference, 3) no US credit card for a download version.
 
my husband and I pre-ordered at game stop and didn't get any open beta codes either :/

And yeah I almost ordered from gamestop but saw they weren't giving out the codes anymore so I had to go with Best Buy at the last minute. :\ sorry to hear about that though.

If you are in the closed beta you get a free 2 days playing before the open beta comes out :D!

Stupid ass beta download, I've been trying to download this crap since Friday and everytime it's corrupted. It starts tomorrow and I don't even have the client yet. This is already giving me low hopes :\

Anybody else having any problems getting it to download??
 
Nope, went quite smoothly for Reya and I.

'Course, this weekend at least the servers seem pretty buggy, then again they're rather obviously trying to max out their populations on all the ones they're running.

2 and a half hours after opening and we still can't make an account. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
 
4 and a half hours and they still aint got their shit together. If I can't get my account sorted today i'm cancelling and ordering a US copy (if I can somehow do that).

I'll probably order a US one as well.
 
In the developer's notes they did mention that EU was going to be up after the US was handled. They said they wanted to get them as close as possible on the same day, but there was no way to get them at the same second. Not sure if that has to do with any of it, but I could pull up that link if you needed me to.

Nah that's not the problem. Even if they go up at the same time we'd not be able to play as we can't even create our accounts/put our codes in.
 
Good news though if it's your thing. I noticed WAR Eu is hiring on their site :)

They are always hiring. It still doesn't excuse the bullshit they have done, they have totally and completely fucked us over.
 
Well after the days and days of trying to download a stupid client and then waiting for hours on end to patch it, I'm not having high hopes for them either, so no worries. Gameplay better blow me away is all I can say.
 
Well it's 12 hours after they opened the account servers, sadly it's been a shambles. The English community managers are trying to put some spin on it and make it sound like it's not their fault (leaving things to the last day is their fault), yet the German community manager like always has been blunt and honest saying it's been a catastrophe and nothing short of a disgrace.
