Hello, I'm trying to raise my Mhaura and Kazham fame so I can get my Tunning Forks in order to do Avatar Primes.

Does anyone know any repeatable quests that can quickly increase my fame for these two small towns? (Just enough to get Avatar quest)

Windy. I got my Ifrit fork soley from windy fame. Corronets and Warp quests and then just keep doing windy quests. I feel Windy is the easiest place to get fame.

Since bastok is not in last place, buy cornettes at bastok market's music shop and trade them to the npc in windy walls for the mandragora quest.

I'd have to disagree with this, because it requires bastok to be in first or second place for cornettes to work. That, with the fact that as people love to point out bastok is in third most of the time means there's no easily repeatable quest to do that nets a decent amount of fame most of the time. I generally consider jeuno/bastok/rabao/sandy fame to be the easiest since all you need is boyahda moss and it can be done regardless of the CP standings. When bastok is not in third, windy/mhaura fame is easy but since bastokans don't care about getting into first/second it's usually not an available method.

the fastest but certaintly not the cheapest way to get windy fame is the "paying lip service" quest given by tapoh lihzeh at the apothecary in windurst woods. She ask for 3 beehive chips or 2 remi shells. about 8-10 stacks will give you hero fame.

Well I get about 20-30 cornettes whenever I run through west sarutaburuta in an hour. and you only need to be level 10 to do this. Sandy is next on the list with batwings and bastok is third for fame increasing quests. Of course I do this with atleast a level 15 THF sub, but the way cornettes drop with a THF sub I'm sure they drop ok as another job killing mandragora. For Sandy and Bastok you need to go to another nation or be atleast 20 to get the same results from a repeatable quest. So yes, windy is the easiest place to get fame from.

200 cornettes-ish = Hero fame.. I did this with all my mules

the fastest way for Mhaura fame.. also builds Jeuno/Bastok/Sandy...

Millioncorn! Give it to the old sheep guy, over and over. Voila. Hero fame in all places in a few hours (except windurs)

Only if you're low level or you want to save money. If you're high enough to do the primes then it's not worth the effort to actually kill the mobs for the items for the quest unless you're bored. I could go buy 8-9 stacks of moss and bang out hero fame in jeuno/bastok/sandy/rabao in 20 minutes max. Plus, depending on the price of the moss(under 7200 a stack) you can make money off the moss quest.

What Lv fame do you need to get Avatar Prime? Is it Lv 7 fame?

And just so someone can reconfirm this to me:
The cornette quest and "paying lip service" quest increases my fame in Windy, Mhaura, and Kazham?

Yes to both.

Ok, yeah but they were talking about windy fame, and for you to even be able to buy those stacks of moss you have to go to Jeuno, AND THEY DON'T HELP WINDY FAME. Maybe you missed the point of the entire post, or your so dead set on proving me wrong you don't even care about the topic. Seriously though come back when you actually make sense.

Yeah, too bad moss is about 10k a stack now I believe so you lose a bit of gil from it. Before when I was trading about 10 stacks of moss in for fame, moss went for about 5-6k a stack so I'd make 1.2k-2.2k profit per stack. This was about 6 or 7 months ago though...

Actually how I raised my Windy fame, and raised it by a couple or few fame lvls this way, was by trading Bastore sardines. I traded two stacks I believe to get it up from 6 or 7 or so to hero fame. It can be a bit annoying though since you have to keep zoning back and forth to trade one at a time, but the zone isn't too far from the npc.

I posted in response to your saying that windy is the easiest to get fame for, and showed why. You said that you could farm up 20-30 cornettes in an hour, and I responded by saying that I could just by the items and get it done faster. The selbina moss quest was an example of how fast and easy it is to get fame in every other city but norg. I posted an easy and cheap way to get windy fame, but also stipulated that it was only available while bastok was not in last place, hence why I felt that windy was not the easiest city to get fame for. I've been civil this whole time, you're the one trying to make it personal.

It's still your opinion that windy is easier and that's fine, but I disagree which is also my opinion. I have yet to hear anyone ever say "damn I can't get bastok/sandy/rabao/jeuno fame this week" while I have heard it several times in reference to windy. Seriously, it's not all about you.

I did that quest for a while when bastok was in last back when I needed windy fame, but I started hating the quest with a passion. You can't just trade the sardine to the guy, you have to talk to him to flag, trade it and then rezone to start it all over again.
