Sirelrohir- That post wasn't intended to smash on him... it was the WHM and PLD that was giving me fits. If I didn't like him, I wouldn't have used his name while posting ;)

I read this off allakhazam last night and it was pretty funny. anyways it something some of us have probably run into before.

Puller: Think we can handle a Thread Leech?

Me: No.

Puller: ok

*Puller comes running back to camp with a thread leech in tow

Me: Didn't I just say no to the Thread Leech?

Puller: it's not my fault, it aggro'd me

Me: Leeches don't aggro. *uses provoke and attempts to zone the leech*

At this point it gets interesting, when the other people with provoke in the party saw me try to zone the leech they decided it was their duty to fight the thing, after I said I was going to zone it. So I decide to go about doing my job and tank the stupid thing. Of course I get killed first, and then the rest of the party proceeds to get wiped out. Now, here's the best part of it all:

Puller: tank u suck

Me: What!?

Puller: u suck u culdn't even tank a leech

Me: I told you not to pull the damn thing, it's not my fault it killed us. Accuse me again like that and you can find yourself a new tank.

Puller: it's not my fault u provoke the leech when i brought it back to camp

Me: As soon as I get raised you can look for a new tank. Thank you for the party. *gets raised and disbands*

Wow, seems like every where I go I find a post about Allyson. When I was leveling my BLM sub (for RDM) in Valkurm I had a couple very unfortunate incidents involving this player. Now supposedly she switch over from the Valefor server and had a 40 something BRD/WHM there. I find that hard to believe as noob as she was. She was attempting to Power her way to 30 so she could unlock BRD again. She was a BLM and wanted another BLM in the PT to make xp faster (actually the only intelligent thing she ever said). So there I was, decked out eating melon pies, while she's in her Hume starter gear wearing a ceremonial dagger. She then says "I feel so uber wearing my ceremonial dagger, isn't it nice." To which I respond "I prefer the +1 wands, but whatever." Then we get going, after I level she tries to poke at me making fun of me for not having my spells with me, to which I respond I have 25 RDM. Enough said. Then when she levels she uses her scroll of Stonega, and screams "w00t pull so I can own with this." I'm thinking alright she's an idiot there's no way she should be using an AOE spell on the beach (whitebone). Sure enough the next fight she pops one off and gets another pugil, that was apparently out of her LOS, all over her. I was laughing my ass off. Until it started going after everyone else as well. I used manafont to quickly finish the first pugil then ran my ass off to the zone.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!

On a completely different occassion I was farming beehive chips in giddeus with my THF and I get a tell from, you guessed it Allyson. She needs help getting her key for the Khazam quest and wants my help. I agree. My THF is only 30 and I was wearing next to nothing so I could hold more chips and honey, so the higher yags that the keys drop off were a decent fight, could take about 3 in a row before taking a knee. She of course feels this is moving too slow and decides to grab 4 of them at once, she and her companion (also needing the key) were in the red health before I could stand up. I started trying to help out, but lacking provoke (THF/MNK) I have no way to actually get them off me. In the end they both died and I ended up with 87 health and very pissed. She's the biggest idiot I've ever seen, I quickly /blisted and disbanded leaving them for dead, didn't even care to find them a raise. Her buddy HPed anyways, far as I'm concerned Allyson has a lot to learn, and that walk back to giddeus will give her time to think.

That's my spill on her. Sorry such a long post. I'm @ work bored and waiting for the new update and maintenance to finish.
 
The worst thing I ever heard someone say was someone in my LS said the whm in their party member said this.

"I have provoke and I will use it."

Trying to educate the silly whm, he tries to tell him, you shouldn't use provoke (having it in the first place is a sign you don't want to level a sub...at least have something else!!), but he flips him off and ten minutes later I hear my friend say "Bleep-in whm"

I'm all for helping newbies, but some people just won't learn until they cause 1 or 100 player deaths...
