What Is the longest time you waited for exp pt?

one time i logged in and even before my linkshell message came up i got an invite.. wondering why cuz im a thf.. guess they wanted DD bad lol
but longest is about 4 1/2 hours

This one time I waited 4 hours, and read the board and did some work durring that time. I came back to log off and noticed I was /anon.

I went 2 weeks without an invite while seeking every chance I got, every day on my monk.

8 days(I seeked pt on a friends 58 DRG for 8 days and never logged off, checking tells every morning), never got an invite.

lol @ the dragoons...longest i was seeking on ninja was literally 10 minutes from 1-75...on sam it was like 10 hours, mainly because I fell asleep. Same for war...what does this info tell us? MAKE PARTIES.

Heh, I remember getting annoyed for having to LFG for 3 hours on bard.

I waited 30 WHOLE MINUTES once. I started to freak out. I was going nuts I thought I was broken or something or...or maybe the world was coming to an end.

<~Bard

He knows what I mean.

Most consecutive hours lfp without forming a party, was probably about 8 hours for me. I rememer looking all day one day while piddling around with a {Scroll of Instant warp}--> {Jeuno} flag and getting a late invite the next evening after quite a while of doing the same.

It's the worst when you miss those waves of daily pickup partiers from 60-73after not leveling for a while. You have to end up catching the next group. I remember a solid two weeks where there was no skillchain partner to pick from but 3 or 4 of the WORST war/nins imaginable. Every day, there they were, the only ones, the same ones every time you searched for a viable party setup. Only weapons were 1-H axes. Badly outdated ones. It was not good times. I think I got cloth from 70-80 those two weeks instead.

i dont really count the hours i lfp. usually i'll build one if i want to xp, if i'm not doing that then usually i'm chatting and just being board lfp is just a bonus then :p

I do about the same thing.

Sometimes I pull up WoW and waste some time in that while LFP, too.

It's the only time I bother to play WoW...

If i'm really desperate for something to do i go fish.

Its easy money and a good way to kick back away from playing multiple accounts and just relax. watch the trafic roll by, i actually enjoy fishing a little :/
i also craft while lfp also, i get depressed doing it now. but i'll come around from that sickness someday (i hope)

I used to leave my flag up on SMN for days. Usually I'd sleep, go to school, come home, check to see if I got any invites, then go back to sleep lol.

over 2 weeks as a 43 drg a long long time ago, of course with sleep and stuff but I'd log on, seek and farm, log off every day for over 2 weeks, why I originally gave up drg.

4 hours... after that i just got frustrated and logged off... the next time i logged i didnt even put on flag and i got a pt ^^

I've never waited more than an hour. I've also found that the seek flag doesn't matter. When I was trying to hit 70 to catch up to my static from lots of deaths, I tried out the old "seek party" flag once. In the 30 mins or so I left it on, I didn't get an invite. I turned it off because I didn't want people to think I was a mage that had to seek (they might suspect my gear was shoddy). I got an invite 15 mins later or so. I think a seek party flag is a turnoff to potential inviters. Also, waiting in Jeuno is a turnoff. I don't get random invites when I'm in Lower Jeuno. If I'm in a party in the middle of Ifrits Cauldron, I'll get <>Experience Points<><>Party<> <>Do you need it?<>. I'm never quite sure what to say. For one, anyone who's inviting me to a level 70ish exp party should know the darn color code in the /sea list. A classic conversation I'll never forget:

Inviter: <>Party<> <>Do you need it?<>
Me: I'm already in a party.
Inviter: I know, I mean an EXP party

I was in Boyhada with my static... I didn't even reply a second time.

i'd say a day, i usually start my own pt's when i truely wish to lvl asap.
