And your quote that you chose to use as the argument to why you shouldnt be jumped on for your post refers to PMing the admin or moderators, or posting in the Support and Feedback board. Posting in GD is simply an attention grab so you can come off as being targeted because you're you. And while being you is reason enough to warrant such negative attention, its usualy deserved, as it is in this case.

if its not talking about hacking, then what is there to discuss? that was the whole basis of the post, "is it hacking or not?"

it was locked because itd end up in the flameboard, so i stopped it before it got there. you're comparing a general forum thread to a flameboard thread, not exactly the same thing.

anyways it appears that on qcdn, several individuals cant calmly have a discussion about it, it just ends up in blah blah vs blah blah.

i think several opinions were voiced, people could deduct what they wanted to from the thread already at where it stood.
 
Heh, I'm surprised the 'omg it's hacking crowd' didn't attack the LCD screen.

You know it would be spiffy if the LCD screen displayed # of shadows and timers :)

If it was going to end up a Flameboard topic, why not just shuffle it off to the Flameboard. All i saw in the locked thread was someone asking if the keyboard was a form of hacking despite the misleading title.

I know it's not a democracy here on QCDN, but it'd be nice to know where the clear line is for what can be discussed. If there even should be a line.

i already made a post about it, but guess ill make another.

because its a worthless thread that was already getting derailed. a few good points were made, and that was that. all it was turning into was an ethical/unethical hacking topic that we already have.

its like the joke blabj made. "is my keyboard with winamp controls hacking?"

i will say, that usually if you have to ask if something is hacking, it probably is because it crosses that line anyways. you shouldnt have to ask a forum, lol.

qcdn is all about debating. that post was like 15 posts at most, and we have multipled that thread count by 400% on this thread just about "the lock". people just like to bitch i think.

anyways, its done. move on.
