Yeah I thought it was Ifrit's Cauldron at first but then there's no exit to Yhoator Jungle... maybe a beta map or something :?
 
Where did you find this, because it looks like a map for a new zone. Or somone has a lot of time to map up thier own zone maps :D

lol hell I don't have the patience to make up a map XD I found this map by going through all of the maps with ffxitool.

Doesn't look like a new zone, looks exactly like Ifrits with some retarded wording. Because the 2nd map is the Dodomeki/Bomb Queen map, and the first map is where Bastok 6-2 takes place.
 
not a new zone, it must be beta maps, before they split the maps for Ifrit's Cauldron to 5.

If you lay all the individual maps from atlas on top of eachother these two and Ifrit's cauldron as it is today are practically identical

they dont have beta maps in the files, they remove them :O
 
I must've missed the part where the OP stated for a fact these were direct from her .dat files.

Maybe it's an error in ffxitool? 'Cuz like gutress said, that's just Ifrit's Cauldron with several of the maps overlayed on one map. And with different names and such, of course.
 
It is definitely Ifrits, but it is a little different from the ingame map... the road to Yutunga is E5 on the second map, and that path in these maps is completely different to the in game map for Ifrits (the area with the Ash Dragon in it...)

Maybe a beta map that didn't get removed somehow?
 
Exactly like ifrits, tho I notice a few new sections thats not on in game map.

Maybe using map for another purpus... like dynamis (tho no map for that) and that special balista zone. Maybe its map for that new thing thay adding this next patch?

Or just a junk map that not sapost to be in file
